This is the perfect system for those who want a loud and very aggressive sound without having to spend a lot. This system gives your 2015, 2016 or 2017 Fastback GT Mustang a loud growl to give you that race car feels.
This system features a high-flow H-Pipe, 3” mandrel-bent aluminized steel piping and finished off with adjustable 4-1/2” polished tips.

Also I recommend welding on your exhaust tips as soon as you adjust them to your preference. They will loosen with the constant vibrating and may fall off while driving.

What happened with the stock drivers side muffler there Bill? Looks like it fell off when you removed it, look at your helpers face when it did that.

+eclypse3d It looks like the silencers on this car are clamped on (actual production cars are welded). Clamp was loose. I'm guessing they chopped off the factory silencers to make demonstrating Axel backs much easier for future videos.

@@FerRod2113 I had one. The entire exhaust was one giant welded piece. I had to cut it up to dispose of it when I put a new system on else it wouldn't fit in the van.

Hi Bill, I'm recently purchased this exhaust. I absolutely love the sound but I couldn't help to notice that the pipes hang pretty low. I have the pp pack on my gt so I usually drive cautiously over bumps. Should I be concerned?

Is there a reason why MBRP didn't inform dealers that this won't fit on a 2015 Convertible? There's a sub frame on the convertible which prevents installation of this kit. I should know, I'm now stuck with one I can't use.

Most manufacturers test fit their products on fastbacks since convertibles were not available until recently and a few of them have clearance issues. Did you buy it from us? We can get you into something that will work for your convertible.

Bill Tumas Thanks Bill for the response. I bought it from another dealer and am working on having it returned. I will order from CJ Pony Parts early next week. My understanding is that only Roush Axleback will fit which is fine with me. I want nothing to do with the stock resonator. I believe that MRT H-Pipe will fit on convertibles. Can you please confirm if this will work on a convertible? I know it will be loud but I\m ok with it.

sdd ss The Roush or Ford Racing axle backs will work. The Borla and FRPP 2.5 in cat backs will also work.

In my opinion the Roush with the resonator delete is still a little louder but this is close. A resonator delete with the Mishimoto muffler delete would be one of the loudest setups we offer.

Why does it seem to be hesitating when you give it some throttle?? is it cold or what?? Thinking about getting this exhaust from you guys but don't want performance issues. Also as well, is the race exhaust decently loud. Don't want like open headers loud but the magnaflows (although they sound at idle) sound way quiet for me. What would you recommend? Was looking at the ford racing by borla as well but if I could get something a little cheaper for the same loudness and sound why not? any recommendations help. Im stuck! haha never had a v8 before

That has nothing to do with the exhaust or performance, its a cold start on a blower car and it loads up a little bit. The race is loud for sure but still sound good. The only system I found louder is the Roush axle back with our new MRT resonator delete H pipe.

the auto is pretty good. Definitely less clunky than the MT82 and will hold a lot more power if you're going FI. If you get the premium you'll get to change the drive mode and throttle responses to fit your drive style.

Yeah I've thought about that.. you can't in the base model right ? I live in Arizona so leather isn't the best here but I will drive both premium and base. Base models right now are pretty cheap

Brian Knox I drive a premium here in CA and even in 100+ weather, the cooled seats definitely work in my 15'. I don't think the base model has the different drive modes

It's an aluminized system vs stainless steel which is why it costs less. It is a good sounding system but I still personally prefer the S type

I have the Borla S type on my car right now and don't see it leaving anytime soon. Exhaust is very subjective though, what I like the sound of, you may not. That is why we try and offer as many sound clips as possible.

Gale Hollis Both FRPP systems have none. This system doesn't really have an annoying drone like tone but you will hear it at highway speeds.

+Bill Tumas I've read in my installation instructions and it tells me to unplug the negative battery terminal before installing. I have the Gibson Catback system. Did you unplug your battery? I've read that it's recommended so the ECU can learn the new exhaust.
