2015 (2nd Gen) Nissan Frontier Airbag removal for clock spring replacement (2005-2019) Xterra

This is a quick video to show how to remove an air bag on a 2015 (2nd Gen) Nissan Frontier. This is probably good for any 2nd gen but YMMV. Might work on same year Xterra’s too but not sure. Had to replace the clock spring on this one at 130K. Pretty easy job once I figured out the airbag removal. Before you remove the airbag disconnect the negative terminal on the battery. No special tools other than an impact driver to remove the steering wheel nut but you could probably do it with a breaker bar and a helper.
Sorry for the poor camera work, wasn’t planning on doing a video and didn’t think it out. Should have videoed the rest of the job but it was pretty intuitive once you get into it.
