People here in America are too stuck on SUV's and hate on wagons. We're idiots and need more wagons like this. What I would give for an RS6 Avant

I drive an SUV.... but I secretly always wanted a wagon.
@kennethlarsson149910 жыл бұрын
I never understood the whole SUV thing. They are heavy, ugly and harder to park than a wagon. I love the stealth look of a wagon. I've got a 300hp Volvo wagon and I spank beemers all the time with it, plus I can fit a lot of stuff in the back. A 6(?) litre V8 producing 200hp in a big SUV just seems stupid to me..

I don't know why the last video people were giving her a hard time with her accent and the like. She's doing quite well. It's hard to refine a language. I've been trying to learn German for a few years now. I've given up multiple times and started again. It's even harder when your country doesn't even speak it as an official language. So you're just about reliant to learn dialect from movies and friends. Sara, good job for what you are doing with FLD. The nuances of the language will come soon enough. At least you can be understood. That's what technically matters. Thank you for your efforts.
@GreatToastMigration10 жыл бұрын
Have you tried using a language learning program called "Duolingo?" It's great and free.
@winconfig10 жыл бұрын
GreatToastMigration Something I have never heard of! I'll give a look at it! I actually have Rosetta Stone in a couple languages. That is admittedly my other problem. I just need to choose. I tend to lean to Norse/Nordic lingua. I actually started to confuse myself sometimes because I would start a language and practice for months. Then stop. The issue with that is a lot of 'cross over' between similar vernacular/dialect. I'll research your recommendation now!
@GreatToastMigration10 жыл бұрын
winconfig You should definitely try using Duolingo. I learned much more from this program than what I learned in my German classes in high school. It's quite addicting and fun. You can also download their app onto you phone.

***** I think it is very relevant. The price is not important for the americans since they cant even buy it.

LaBurek Didn't she say, that it costs 108k Euro and it does 0-100km in 3.9 sec ? It is as fast as 911 Turbo. That aside, just because it is not sold thro' the US Audi dealerships in 2015, it doesn't mean that you can't buy it in Germany duty free, to US specification and collect it at your local US Audi dealership.

The thing about these hardcore wagons is that not many people actually buy them. I've only seen one E63 AMG wagon or any sport wagon like this in my life. Good review as always! I think the in America we are still stuck on SUVs and Crossovers and busy hating on wagons, as much as I would like to see this here, I don't think it would sell too well. Hi Sarah. Actually a car starting at EUR79,000 like for instance the RS5, will start at $71,000. Ok, the 79K has MwSt/VAT, so it's more like EUR64K net, and the $71K is is net so really $76K after tax. Still an inverted exchange rate. $76K vs. EUR79K. So if an RS6 were sold here, it would be around the $100K mark... But the BEST part for RS models: although most U.S. states demand front license plates, cops typically don't pull you over for it or fine you. Worst case you have to correct it and show up at the station, or pay a fine if you still choose. So the awesome front grille of the RS models remain undisturbed.

The reasoning for Audi not selling the Audi RS6 Avant in the U.S. market is due to the fact that they believe there isn't much demand for a 560 horsepower station wagon. Hopefully we'll get the RS6 Avant driving on U.S. turf.

2:48 note; the cts-v wagon didnt sell well, at all, and there are no plans for a third gen cts wagon. americans just hate, HATE wagons aside from volvos and subarus
@BocaChevy10 жыл бұрын
Actually Cadillac only needed to sell 39 wagon to recoup the development costs. Although it didn't sell well as a model, I think they sold just 9k examples, it was a huge home run for Cadillac. As someone who has the standard Cts wagon, I get compliments all the time and alot of people don't even know Cadillac made a wagon. I really want the V wagon but out of the three versions of the Cts-v, the wagon holds its value the best :(.
@Ryukachoo10 жыл бұрын
BocaChevy well that was because of two things 1) they already had a wagon model 2) they already had a V model so that gets rid of all the regulatory costs right there, you basically have all the pieces developed and approved, you just need to put them together the problem is there are no plans for a CTS or ATS wagon model of any kind, so any form of Vsport or V wagon is out of the picture entirely
@pawelzieminski671710 жыл бұрын
It's not strictly consumer preference. I myself would love to get a wagon, but there are so few to choose from. There is some information about how government CAFE standards incentivise sales of small SUVs vs car based wagons. Just google "cafe standards wagon suv". As a result wagons wouldn't be marketed the same way as the more profitable SUVs, and so, their sales slump even more. I don't see myself in a SUV so I'll have drive my current accord wagon to death, and then see what's out there. Maybe the wagon landscape will change, or I'll end up with a hatchback....
