The 2015 Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is one of the fastest and most luxurious sedans on the market. Our German host Sarah Sauer decided to take one for a spin and spend a day living in the lap of luxury. The Mercedes-Benz S65 AMG is powered by a 6.0 liter twin-turbo V12 engine making 621-hp and 732 lb-ft of torque. 0 to 60 mph comes in 4.2 seconds!

I had a 2015 and it was Garbage. Magic Carpet or whatever Scam it is Never worked. It had the Ride Quality of a Shopping Cart(which She mentioned). It had Lots of Rattles and Squeaks from cheap plastic around Dashboard. My 2013 s65 felt much more solid and substantial although it was flawed in many ways as well. This is a $230+ Scam ! It's 2× the price of a 560 which was just as Quick and had superior Ride Quality!

Cute girl. My problem with a 220K AMG is it almost looks identical to a 90K S550. Yes, it has more power, but they look the same to most people. I don't like Rolls Royce, but if I have to spend that much money on a luxury, I would go with a Rolls Royce because at least it looks very different than most car. Not to mention, the interior of the AMG does have some plastic features that lowers its richness compared to a Rolls Royce. My first option to spend 220K on cars would probably buying two cars, either Nissan GTR/ Porsche & Lexus LS.

PorscheSweden There is not much difference between a 0-60 mph of 4.2 seconds and 5 seconds. So I would rather save 100K and reach 60 mph less than a second late.

I agree Amir. If I had 220K I'd wait a few months get a pre ownded S550 for 85K and spend the rest on an M3 or 911 slightly used.

Well you have a point, but put it this way; Most people who buy a car like this already have a 200k rolls royce or bentley. Yes spending 200k on a mercedes is quite absurd, however this car attracts the super rich. This one person at my local benz dealer traded in his 2013 ferrari California for a 2014 s63 amg. The wealthy will go after anything.

I love this car, but at the same time i have to admit that its pointless. You would buy it for the performance, but its a limousine, which means you don't drive it yourself. So why not buy a base level S-class with all of the top level options? Now an S65 coupe, thats a drivers car, i can understand paying $200,000+ for that. Hopefully Mercedes will make one.

I'm a BMW fan and owner but there's just some things that BMW doesn't do well. BMW isn't great at making pretty luxury cars with grumbly V8s or V12s.. That's where Mercedes shines.

Different cars for different people, mercedes is of course first and foremost a luxury brand where as BMW is first and foremost a performance brand. Both companies have tried to blend the two. Honestly though, BMW in my opinion is cooler, more sporty and aggressive exterior design, better performance, better driving experience and more of a youthful soul. Mercedes is much more elegant and classy but also more mature. BMW is for those with more testosterone hahaha! I know AMG's are monsters but M is still the performance king for cars with backseats. Except for sound recently... hopefully they fix that.

I'm a big fan of the show, but I really think that 'zara zauer' needs to go. She's just not very entertaining, nor does she really know that much about cars (it seems). I'd love to be able to watch Chris Harris style FLDetours with a funny twist but these ones just aren't cutting it for me.

I am grown. And as a grown man am laughing because so many great, better qualified, people can do a better job.
