Reminds me. Before factory racing completely took over. Just some guys going as hard we could. Some guys getting the better parts. The rest of us fighting hard and not taking any crap from the guys with better machinery. And, them coming over and helping you prep for the next race. True Corinthian sportmen.

It still goes on. Earlystocks, Forgotten Era, Classic Club, Bucket racing. It comes down to the circuits rental prices. Goodwood being completely uninterested in motorcycle club racing. This event is most definitely for the rich, nothing to do with the idyllic days you describe.

@@velobob4299 maybe so .... but, we get to see the machines again. I'm a little surprised we don't see Karman Ghia racing somewhere. It was entry level sports car racing at its best where I raced.
