Where was Dave Roper? These were the motorcycles of my younger days, 1950s and 1960s. The 1,000cc V-twin Vincent was always the king of speed. I love vintage racing, thanks to all.

Well, it's a Matchless G80CS, a 500cc, ohv single with a plain bearing on the timing side. He's probably talking nice to it and patting it for doing so well against more technically advanced competitors..😁
