most of the bass master tournaments have been won off a crank ,,,is this do to the schedule of the tournaments or just weather change before or during ?

Dwayne personally, in my experience, monster bass tend to go after Cranks, and to a lesser extent, jerkbaits (kvd works magic with them. My biggest tournament bass have almost all come off cranks, in 8-12' of water. Except one I caught off a chartreuse spinnerbait wit red streaks in it on a river tournament. But I catch a lot more fish off of top fishing and frogs in reeds and sticks. They tend to round out my bags. To be fair though, 90% of my tourneys are smallmouth.

I like a tuff tournament but the classic should be awesome for anglers and fans. Hold it in late September in the north.
