2015 Belgium - Fernando Alonso takes Lee McKenzie on a tour of his museum

Went to his museum once, purely by chance, as i was in a road trip through the north of the country. I had 0 expectations and had no idea what to expect. It was absolutely jawdroppig. Ive never seen a racing car from up close, much less a F1 racer. And he had them ALL in there! Also, crash helmets from other significant drivers, trophys, a Platystation with the F1 videogame, etc. I mean, you dont have to be his fan to visit it. Its an absolutely remarkable place for a petrolhead.

I would love to take a trip to that museum one day. His collection of F1 cars is staggering. My favorite driver by far and hopefully next year he will get a competitive car to hopefully chase down that third title.

What a great man. It's really tragic what has happened to his career by moving to McLaren-Honda. Languishing at the back of the grid, while his nemesis runs away with wins & titles having no one to challenge him.

he also lost the 2010 world championship in the last race of the season to vette and redbull, because the ferrari pitwall made a catastrophic mistake in pitting him at the same time as webber and sticking him in traffic behind vitaly petrov's renault , which was as quick as lightning in the straights....he lost 2 world titles at ferrari on the last race of the season NEVER having the fastest car. in fact in 2012 the ferrari was 3rd in the constructors championship !!!
