+Alex Gaeckle i have to say that blue devils have my favorite tuning across the board. The snares are just #sex
@alexgaeckle15408 жыл бұрын
Yeah i mean them and coats are always really good tuning, considering rogger times them so weirdly.. When I played on them the sound in front of you was so weird but the sound across from you wasnt even close to the other sound.

Is there a such thing as battery rushing if we all rush together and it's clean?
@pasta_heals7 жыл бұрын
Yes... Everyone doing it doesn't mean it's correct. It doesn't matter if it's clean - the battery playing out of time fucks the rest of the ensemble.
@meguhman62017 жыл бұрын
Alex It's rushing but battery sets the tempo during indoor percussion so front would be listening to them, it's still rushing tho.

DrazCraft Okay, no one is bound to one Corps. Like no one is bound to one college. They choose to go to another simply for the experience or ambition. Who knows, don't call them traitors.

wow.... easily the most challenging book and the cleanest.... well deserved Sanford Trophy... then again... the Dev's have won best percussion more than any other corps and Scott Johnson was won it more than any other caption head/arranger they should know .
@istompconservativeass20299 жыл бұрын
BlueTurtle teo both Cadets and Devs are note rammers... dev's have always been note rammers... this ties over from the Float influence... remember, McNutt is ScoJo's boy. Cadets are just a product of Float's innovation in this activity... everyone is.
@istompconservativeass20299 жыл бұрын
most of SCV's drum titles were won under Fred Sanford in the 70's... BD has won percussion 12 times, the next number down is Cadets and SCV who've won it 9 times. then Cavies at 6 Bridgemen, Star and Phantom at 3 times each Anaheim Kingsmen and Spirit of Atlanta 1 time each. there have been 2 ties for percussion (1980 and 1992) and one 3-way tie (1991). Scott Johnson has single handedly been involved with the most percussion titles in DCI history: 2 as a member and 11 as staff all but one with BD; and the one he won in 1991's 3-way tie with SCV. hands down... the BD have been the most influential, driving force in percussion in dci history....no one else even comes close.

+BlueTurtle teo All of Cadets' Allentown's lots sound horrible... Cause they warm-up in like the echoiest place on earth. Bottom line is, both lines are amazing. And that shows by how close they were in the drum scores... And you can hear imperfections in every line btw. It's called being a human being
