I bought one of these about 2 months ago. My last car was a 2005 Civic Type R and coming from that I am absolutely blown away with the M135i. The quality feel of it, the sound, the power!

i got it the same time as you! have you had any issues? i'm starting to get some oil leaks (which is about time since it's reaching 80,000km!). After going deep into the forums, i decided to upgrade the chassis. strut brace, lower (rear and front) braces and rear subframe bushing inserts. NOW it feels like what i expect a BMW to handle like.

Great car, very very fast. It is crazy how fast these small cars are nowadays. I would love to buy one, used isn't too expensive but the reliability of these German cars puts me off buying them.

Yeah same here, great car, still fear reliability. But I have to admit I have been secretly considering one as an Accord replacement (that and an ISF) but given the views on both these videos, I just don't think my subscriber base would be that interested and I'd be starting all over again trying to build up a new audience. So I'll definitely be keeping the Accord a while longer, and now an S2000 is starting to come back on the cards again....
@markmcgrath90982 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiCarLife so you still haven’t got an ISF? Curious, as cool as the high performance krauts are, the ISF is rarer and most likely more reliable. Being a BMW lover, I love the idea of owning a 4 door M3 but I reckon the ISF probably makes for a less anxious ownership. I really enjoyed your videos of the M3, c63 and ISF.

Thanks for the video, fellow NZer. I'm about to buy one of these. I've driven a few of these in the past, and they are incredible for a girl who wants some power. And I mean that respectfully. The 8 speed makes them soo super smooth. Awesome that BMW still makes fun cars while the JDM market has silenced all their fun stuff :(

Tbh, the N55 is a pretty reliable engine, especially when compared with the N54, N46 and N63. So I'd recommend it, but I mean it's still a BMW though haha. Worth it for the driving experience I reckon though
@benjaminwingchun96653 жыл бұрын
@@KiwiCarLife yeah I was aiming for n55 over n54, I'd still say the n55 wouldn't be reliable next to the accord(as long as you dont play with the gearbox🤣🤣🤣). The CL9 will run forever and when it eventually stops 20 owners later it's pretty cheap to throw in another k24. So I thought I should probably slow down for a daily🤣, and a 135i is a bit too much for that. I have a SL55 currently for the weekends.
