Really one of the few realistic reviewers out there - thanks for a great review of my favorite car! The 40d is the better engine choice in my opinion - in South Africa 🇿🇦 almost all non-M X6s (and other X cars) are diesels and we love them for the great torque and decent fuel economy.

+Ivan Torok yes, this car had the ceramic m-sport brakes option, included in the as tested price. They are not standard equipment.

I doubt it had ceramic "breaks", but it most certainly had ceramic brakes.

Super review! Does someone knows where to buy 22 inch factory Style '341' Staggered BMW X6 2014 model wheels? I have bought 2014 BMW X6 from Autozentrum Roth gmbh they shipped it to me directly in Zurich in 7 days and now I want to change the wheels on it. The new X6 is perfect. I like the style "341 model but I only find it on stock only in Germany. Does anyone knows where can I find them on stock in Zurich?

BMW publishes 0 to 60 in 6.8 seconds, with most reviews over the internet pegging it at 6.0 seconds. Did you have the trunk filled with cement?

Probably I am just too fat :) Just remember we do 0-100km/h, which is 0-62mph, so a bit slower is expected.

MotorPress.ca 2 mph extra doesn't equate to an over 2 second loss. Good cinematography though.

Well, as you noticed I used launch control, so can’t be my fault. 6.8 to 7.8 is 1 second difference, which could be due to many reasons. I wouldn’t compare against other reviews, you never know what’$ going on there ;)

0-62mph is NOT 7.8sec, but actually 6.1sec - so prepare you homework better, next time.

There is no way to show you after so long, but that is what we measured at the time. It doesn’t mean that the car can’t go faster, but under the conditions we tested, that is what we got.
