We recently bought the ESV Platinum edition. We went looking to replace our older suburban with a new one and happened to see the Escalade in the process. From the moment we sat in the car it was obviois there was no comparison to a Suburban. We have had it 2 months now and I pretty sure listening to it come to life will ever grow old. It sounds amazing and looks amazing. Btw, no rapper or soccer mom or dad here but I did enjoy the great review. Highly recommended.

I think I am too, the long wheelbase like this one & in same color here. I had a 2006 Lincoln Town Car until I was in a accident & I think I'll switch to Cadillac.

Sluggish interface is a deal breaker. Seriously, were they too greedy to install beefier CPU and GPU, and write a proper 3D accelerated interface? Heck, if you're that greedy, add 500 more, no one will care or notice the difference.

I like the GMC look a bit better. The Escalade is a bit too over the top for my tastes - not that it will ever matter.

I'm getting really REALLY tired of these single-minded, douchebag reporters and journalists always starting an Escalade review video or story with "Rappers and Athletes....". Because all I see driving these things around (especially in the Northeast and other areas across the country) are tiny little Caucasian soccer moms, their 3 kids and THEIR friends from school all packed in the back. I have YET to see a "rapper" or "athlete" driving one of these things in the REAL WORLD. They drive Range Rovers, BMWs and Audis.

The Cadillac Escalade is just right for me. I like the V8 power it offers as well as the opulence of wealth and features it has that sets it apart from the Chevrolet Tahoe. And I think the Yukon is underpowered and is not up to Escalade standards.
