Does it have rear wiper? Hard to tell but think I see one tucked under the rear spoiler

Good video. The bit with the Hyundai talking about the design had me laugh and cringe. I detest when someone selling stuff uses superlatives about design, they need to lets other decide what is elegant and more rather than tell people.

wherever did the Hyundai name team get that idea w/the "9"? 🤔 Not very imaginative considering the big ppl movers from sister companies have "9" in their name. 😔 I get the vehicle line naming convention(s), but still. I guess I can't wait for bmw to release their 9-series, or Audi to drop the A9/Q9 if this is the going forward trend...

Not my style but have to give Hyundai some credit for not following the styling crowd. I guess having the benefit of Hyundai and Kia being usually twins except for styling gives them some latitude to make a to my eye weird looking vehicle (Hyundai) and a handsome version (Kia) but based on all the Hyundai's I see they must be doing something right. They have come a long way from the Pony!

Hyundai is killing it with styling. Now only if reliability and charge improved so these can be more widely adopted

Man that thing is ugly in my opinion. The interior is nice but so are all new 80-100k vehicles. Being a yooper from northern Michigan I would like to see a test of the range when it’s 5 degrees out. I bet it’s not 335 miles. When these electric cars get 335 miles of range with 5 degree temps. and can charge 20-80 percent in 5 minutes maybe then I would consider one. And what about resale value? Why would anyone want to buy a 5 year old used battery. I guess some people would just not me. Just some suggestions that they never address in electric car reviews.

I don’t understand the layout of these three-row SUVs. If all three rows are filled with human beings there’s no room for all their cargo. Better off with a minivan.

Great work in a short time! This is not at all my kind of vehicle (I'm talking size, not that it's an EV), but Hyundai continues to impress. I liked their presenters too - energetic without being cheesy, on script but conversational.

What’s the mpg when full of people and after 100k miles? I can’t imagine owning one of these past the warranty period, which makes you wonder are these electric vehicles still better for the environment if they need to be replaced every few years?

I'm kind of surprised they didn't make sure the U.S. journalists got to spend time in the U.S.-spec car and vice versa, but you definitely made the most of your time there. Any bets on when NHTSA and the DOT will allow cameras to replace side mirrors? Think in the next 30 years, maybe?

There wasn't a huge difference between the two. They were trying to get as many people through the cars as possible. The side camera mirrors aren't as great as you might image to be honest. I'd rather have the headlights.

@@DrivenCarReviews Thanks for the reply. Agreed, the cameras replacing mirrors seems like fancy tech for tech's sake and added complexity where it isn't needed, but I do wish we would match our DOT headlight regulations to the ECE standard.

Not quite as clean as the concept, unsurprisingly, but still very nicely styled - a bit less digital than the EV9. If the generous 123" wheelbase translates into a supple, stable ride (which I care about more than a cavernous interior), this might be something to really look forward to.
@DrivenCarReviews

Very close to the concept though (the exterior, not the interior). I was pleasantly surprised.
