If you would’ve bought the “Z Automotive Tazer”, you could’ve turned on the fog light function yourself. It’s designed to allow you to access the car’s settings and all kinds of different things

Those dummy wires are probably the wires for the foglights already installed from factory. If you could trace them down might have saved you some time and rerouting wires. Not sure why Mopar had you do it this way.

Yes you can. Most of the SXT have those wires there in case you decide to install fog lights.the dealer won't tell you because they want your money. When you installed the switch it was basically plug and play. You took your glove box out for nothing. You should have took your wheel well cover off first to verify if the wires were a d l ready there.

Hey Andy, thanks for the video.....The OEM light kit from the dealer, what was the price on it ?......Also, how long did it take the dealer to program the lights ?....I have a 2020 Challenger that has no fog lights and i need to have them installed , Thanks buddy. i will be sure to give you a thumps up.

I got the light kit from eBay which was around 120 I believe. And The dealer charged me like 160 just to program them . It shouldn’t have been that much some dealerships only charge like 50. Because it does not take long for them to program them.

DeVintage i didn’t want to hard wire it , if you did the way I did and connect it oem and they don’t turn on , that means that there is no current and you have to get them programmed which sucks

I washed my car with a pressure washer and sprayed the fog lights. One of the lights popped in to the bumper and the dealer said they wanna charge 350 because they have to remove the whole bumper to reinstall them

Brian C. There’s already a wires running through a hole you can cut into it and run your wire through with the other ones

Great video Andy! Does the black housing clip onto the front of the fog light assembly before the assembly is clipped in or after?

If I read your question correctly... I personally put the black housing clip first on the bumper then installed the fog light. Hope this helps!

I am planning on adding a blue dome lens to cover the fog light and make it glow blue and want to know how easy it is to pop off that housing from the front. Thanks for responding so fast dude. I've seen a video where all of this didn't have to be done. All you seem you had to do was install the fog lights in the front bumper and just connect them to the wires already there. Shouldn't have to do that on newer models.

So you didn't connect the wires under the dash on the passenger side. I ran it through the fire wall . I have dummy wires connected like you but don't know how to remove them

@@andyallon9665 yeah I did the hard wire on my 09 charger and put the OEM fogs but this round with my 15, I wanted to use the OEM switch but damn man 🤦🏾‍♂️. I'll check with a mechanic that I know who does programming and see if his equipment can do it.

Yes to activate them because I wired them OEM. It only takes like 10 min for them to do it . You can hardwire them to a button if you don’t want to go to the dealer
