I have a question I tried the steps for a soft and hard reset on my radio for my charger 2015 se but it would not work even after I held the buttons as per instructions but neither worked so I pulled the battery cable (I know that was bad} but nothing Erased the info it still had all the presets even after an hour of sitting, so my question is why would this happen, oh and by the way I can no longer start my car it goes to run but nothing happens I get warning lights but I cant turn my car off once its in run PLEASE help lol.....

That's an odd occurrence. Disconnecting the battery is fine, that really shouldn't have done anything but reset the canbus, which in turn makes the radio re-learn the BCM information being transmitted. It's actually highly recommended to do this when replacing vehicle components that have software to make everything handshake properly. As for no longer starting, I really can't think of a particular reason the uconnect would cause this, unless the vehicle put itself into a theftlock mode. There might be a theftlock release that you can disengage with a screwdriver, so you can start the car with the fob/key but I don't know for certain. I would definitely search for another channel's video on youtube for that information. I would highly recommend getting the vehicle to the dealership to have it scanned as soon as possible.

The 2015 models are the only ones that will require special attention to maintain heated seats and steering wheel controls. 2016+ will maintain the heated seats and steering wheel controls Climate controls will be maintained across the board. Here is the note from the website about 2015 models: "If your Challenger/Charger/300 is a 2015 model and currently equipped with heated seats, ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, and/or sport mode, you will need to purchase a new Body Control Module to maintain the ability to manually control these features. Once you have the module, it needs to be installed, and a PROXI Alignment must be performed at a local dealership."

That's something we're still trying to fix for the 2015 year vehicles. They work for 2016+, but 2015 was the first year the Challenger, Charger, and 300 went to the more modern BCM, so things aren't perfect when putting a 2017+ radio into the vehicle, specifically for the drive modes/SRT pages.

We don't sell this BCM at the moment so it would have to be purchased from another source.

2019 Challeneger… Screen just cut off wont cut back on.. low popping noise through my speakers, so I took out the fuse and the popping stopped… Tried to do the reset by pressing the knobs, unhooked the battery and still nothing… fuse is not blown and even bought a new fuse… Any idea?? Not this particular upgrade unfortunately. In 2015 the Dodge Charger completely changed wiring and Uconnect systems. The 2014 uses what's known as the RE2 or RB5 (If it has navigation). We unfortunately do not have a CarPlay upgrade for the 2014 because we are not able to retrofit the 2015+ models into the 2011-2014 Chargers.

The upgrade is set to a factory OEM standard. We are not able to accommodate any kind of after market amplifier upgrades. But since this is a factory OEM upgrade, you would just need to verify that the amplifier that you chose is able to work with factory OEM equipment.

Why check engine lights on?

Because we can't start the vehicle inside the install bay. So the ignition is turned to on, which causes the dash lights to come on.

Reset button? I don't recall ever seeing a Uconnect radio with a designated reset button from factory. Normally to reset a radio, you would hold down a few buttons, like volume and tuning for 10 seconds, or by disconnecting the battery from the vehicle. Some radios also have resets in the settings.
