The OBD genie will be tied to the vehicles VIN# once it has been initiated. So you would need to purchase a new programmer to initiate programming in a new vehicle.

You would need to upgrade the hardware to either the 430N RHB or the 730N RHR to obtain factory onboard navigation. Product links in the description.

Hello, so I have these bed lights on my 24 1500 and one the two (driver side) stopped working. I would imagine that would not be a blown fuse since the passenger side works. Does this mean the driver side one went bad? Thanks,

So i have a 2021 f150 the acm has went bad in and the dealer quoted me $600 to change it out. I can get the part and change it much quicker and cheaper myself. But does this part have to be programmed by a dealer to work if i swap it out?

Sorry about that. Essentially you're just using the dielectric grease to block any holes of the connector to prevent water from entering. It's not a complicated procedure.

Finally was able to get around to install this trailer brake kit. Truly plug 'n play. Installed effortlessly and caused no error codes. Only downside was having to contort my fat carcass in order to see what the heck I was doing. 😁 Tips for the next person installing this kit: Stretch. Find or acquire a loooong phillips head extension to install the bracket screws easier. I have one that's about 12" in length. When installing the new controller in the lower dash section, make sure you have the little channel guide/slot aligned as you're pushing in to the click tabs. The two knee bolster screws in my 2021 Ram 1500 (non Classic) were 7mm hex heads. In order to remove the OBDII plug, there are click tabs at the top and bottom. Not the (4) tabs, (2) at each side of the plug.

Unfortunately the map database updates were discontinued by GM early this year for this system. So we can't exactly control what map database you'll receive. However, upgrading to Apple CarPlay / Android Auto will provide Waze/Google Maps/Apple Maps to integrate from your Smart Phone, so you get live traffic information and always up to date maps through those apps. Just click the link in the Bio for your year range, and you'll have to make a few selections before you see the price. It depends on what you're upgrading to.

So for the 2014-2020 Impala, the radio system is a little complicated. Rather than being a single radio unit, it's actually composed of 3 parts. The HMI (Human Machine Interface - Computer to the radio) the ACM (Audio Control Module - Tuner for AM/FM/XM) and the Display itself, which can vary from vehicle to vehicle, but it is literally just a monitor. We may not have a video if the HMI is in a different location, but maybe we can send you a PDF of the HMI's location (this would be one of those shop sketch diagrams, then usually points out screws and which part comes out in sequence) please reach out to our Sales Team with your VIN and we can look closer!

You are currently equipped with the IO62.0 option code. This indicates that you are equipped with onboard navigation. To gain Apple Carplay/Android auto you'd be looking at either the IO52.5 or the IO62.5. IO52.5 features Apple carplay/Android auto exclusively. So yo would be forfeiting your current IO62.0 onboard nav if you were to choose this option. IO62.5 features both an upgraded onboard navigation interface as well as Apple Carplay/Android auto. That's actually the angle of the camera. If you were sitting in the front seat, you'd see that none of the icons are actually cut off from the bottom (If you're referring to the UAQ in the last part, 17 minute mark).

I purchased a Mopar 24, they don't come with homelink, what is the purpose of the grey wire? If its only power to the homelink? can't that be gotten from an aux switch ? there are 4 provided in the dash.

It is for power, but it's also wired to the UGDO circuit for communication as well. We should hopefully have a solution for the 2024 soon!

Absolutely, however, since you have an RA1, (The digital clock display radio) you may need two additional parts. One is a microphone for the bluetooth hands free, and the other would be an XM/GPS antenna. Please call our sales team for more information! You might also want the mirror reroute kit, as the rear view camera is likely in the mirror in this vehicle.

I purchased the trailer brake controller for my 2024 Ram 2500. Went through the install of everything correctly and then two days later now getting a check trailer brake wiring light that comes and goes

Is the error message specifically pointing at the trailer brake wiring? Normally I've seen "Service Trailer Brake" or "Trailer Brake Service Unavailable". I'd recommend clearing the DTC's, and try disconnecting both batteries for about 20 minutes. Are you seeing any issues with the trailer brake itself? If so, we may need to exchange the module.

This is a completely plug and play OEM package. Installation does not require cutting or splicing wires, allowing you to maintain the factory integrity of the vehicle. So it will not void your warranty.

You will not lose these features. The backup camera does not have a physical button but the automatic triggers will be the triggers. For backup camera it is when you go into reverse and I believe the Front camera triggers when you go into 4WD. But these will both have automatic OEM triggers.

My 2022 big horn allowed me to go into settings and turn it off completely. I don't think automatic daytime running lights should be legal. If the manufacturer wantes to put them on, you better make sure the tail lights come on as well. You can't see people in the fog, bad weather, or dark because they think the lights just come on all by themselves.

The daytime running lights should just be illuminating the amber bulbs (turning signals). If someone is actively using their LED headlights during the day, that's not the intent for this upgrade.

Hi there, it's possible that the ACM (Audio Control Module) could have failed, or the amplifier could have failed. In a lot of cases the ACM is the CD player if your vehicle features a CD player, if you don't have a CD player it's just a tuner. This is technically a separate part of the Sync system. In fact, this video, as all of the 4-8 Sync 3 videos, that module is not changed, just the computer to the radio is changed out.

Unfortunately yes. We state this in the things to know on the listing. Technically any Uconnect Upgraded radio will not be able to receive Sirius Guardian/Uconnect Online Services, because the network changed between generations. For this specifically, from a 4G antenna to the Uconnect 4, the Uconnect 5 uses a telematics module separate from the radio, and Sirius Guardian/Uconnect Services communicate to the radio through the telematics module. Even if you were to wire in a telematics module, Uconnect may still not agree to attempt the service. So pretty much all of our Uconnect listings state that Sirius Guardian/Uconnect will be forfeited.
