Our kit is OEM not aftermarket like the kits you see on Amazon. When it comes to electronics you get what you pay for and you really do want to go with a system that was built for the vehicle from the manufacturer.

Great video! thanks! Question, I have Sync3 installed and updated software. But, the Nav shows no GPS. Does that mean I need to replace the Satellite Antenna on top of truck?

So Ford is used to answering questions about aftermarket radios which do usually cause a loss of features. However, what we offer is 100% OEM equipment so it is going to receive data from the BCM and we are going to program it to the Vin attributes specfic to ensure you do not lose any factory feautres and that is backed by our 3 month free warranty.

Where do you get that 911 phone override? Is it just a cut wire?

Yes, this radio needs a connection in the vehicle phone port on the back or you will run into an error message every time you start the radio prompting you to go to the dealer to fix vehicle phone. Cost is $599.95 and it is 1-3 days from when we receive it for it to go back out. I would say 2 weeks in total with shipping both ways. Also, you would pay to ship to us and then we would pay to ship back.

Yeah, these are OEM Ford parts so while that does come with a quality guarantee it does mean the units are more expensive then say aftermarket solutions.

Nice, but would like the EQ to be more than just a 3 band EQ would be nice for an 10 band EQ upgrade for the amount of money you are putting into this upgrade. But everything else is nice.

This is not up to us, this is OEM equipment so it is all based on that Ram chooses as their primary option.

@@Infotainment_navthat would be nice to get that as an upgrade due to most of us gear heads always updating and upgrading our sound systems and not wanting to go with aftermarket. I would like to see a software update with a 10 band eq as iam interested in adding this to rebel.

Yes that is correct you do not. We send a OBD 2 port programmer to make this possible. That will program the BCM but does not stay in the vehicle. It is removed after it is used.

The primary difference is that the UBQ has wireless CarPlay and Auto and the UAX has wired. The UBQ also has the ability to do Apple CarPlay in full 12" screen mode. The UAX would only do CarPlay in half of the screen.

So basically. You took a sport and turned it into a super sport LOL It's not a ( Rubicon) until differential locks and sway bar disconnect are in. To me anyways. One thing you could've said is how much it cost to do all these upgrades. Is it worth it? Or should we go straight to the Rubicon?

Junk camera. I have had two of these mirrors in 2 1/2 years. In both instances they stopped saving the settings and now i have to listen to that annoying loud asnine Brandmotion chime every time the jeeps starts up. On top of that, the visor hits it every time its flipped down and don't get me started on the quality of the jeep visor (breaking off). Its nice when it works right, but i've had enough, its going into the bin.

No the Uconnect 5 uses a digital camera but you should have one as they camera for reverse was standardized in 2018. Do you have the Vin you could send me at [email protected]?

We program the radio so the features present in your vehicle are not lost. However, Nissan right now is having major supply issues so this is not available right now. We should be able to resupply these units and start selling them again sometime next year. Sorry about that.

Thank you for this. I have the stereo you installed in my 2013 Suburban with bose. However I'd like to install an aftermarket stereo. Do you have a solution for this? I don't need xm or nav as I just use my phone. There seems to be an issue with the bose amp in the standard swap connections? Thank you for your help.

Those APIMs typically have a blck plastic locking mechanism that you move and it should come out fairly easily. He does this around the 3:20 mark.

You do have to transfer subscription but they should allow you to do that for free up to 5 times a year. At most however this would cost around $15.

I watched the install video for this and the blind spot monitoring upgrade - they appear to plug into the same power connector in the center stack of the dash - can you add both of these upgrades? Or are you limited as you can only tap the 12v courtesy outlet one time?

If I want to get tow mirrors on mine, but I don’t need the door modsules or switches, small mirrors already have power folding, do I still have to pay for the modules and door switch or can we work something out. Also is there a way to get the running lights in the mirrors to stay on at night ?

We only sell this as a full kit we need to make sure the module, harness and housing are all the correct parts and that they are tested and inspected before shipping. It would not be possible to service or warranty the parts if the full kit does not come through our facility.
