It's a good car, I've done 70k miles overall had it for a couple of years now.

@@CL4SSiCS It's not underpowered at all. You can feel the power around 3k - 4k rpm. It's enough to get up to speed in a good time, and it can be enough to overtake too. I haven't tried the other engines but they do the 1.0L with 123BHP and 140BHP.

What is like on motorways and stuff? thinking of getting rid of my 1.6l petrol Focus for one of these but worried about the weight and struggling to get up to speed etc.

They're really good on the motorway. At 70mph you can look towards 50+mpg (max I've had is 62mpg on a 162mile trip). They don't struggle to get up to speed at all due to the turbo. Once you know the power range (around 3k rpm to 4k), you'll know how to utilise the gears.

Make sure it’s been looked after and maintained properly as these are a highly stressed engine and can be a pain in the arse when high miles or not looked after

Yeah i need to get rid of my 1.6 petrol powershift as its only getting 26mpg around town...still looking into a 1.0 Focus or an Audi A1, thanks!

What’s the noise like in the cabin ?

Quite abit of road noise when driving 80mph+ but if you have good tyres it can be fairly quiet.

Ford focus EcoBoost 1.0 is a shit vehicle three cylinder engine very small for the vehicle and they have problem with the oil pump they won't last more than 60k miles that's if you maintained the vehicle . Before you buy do your research and look how many of them are for parts and scrap. This is my own experience of the car do you own research 😉
