the seats you sat in were not Recaro's. Those are the base level seats. the Recaro's come in two styles. The two tone partial leather on the ST2 package. Then the full leather ST3 package. The model your driving is an ST1.

Nice review, but I would disagree with some aspects of it. As far as the "win-win" comments, I think no auto transmission option is a LOSS and no sedan option is a LOSS. Much like Subaru WRX no hatchback option is a LOSS, so focus sedan st is also. I dont think Ford can cry poverty in that regard like Subaru claimed when it gave that excuse as to why it discontinued the wrx hatch last model year. If so, maybe I could suggest Ford simply cut back on some of its 8 million different pickup truck options they sell. I think at this point its not at all too much to ask of Ford to also offer this car with a good dual clutch auto, much like the VW GTI DSG. Its great that they offer a manual gearbox, but I think at this point, somebody at Dearborn, MI needs to come back to reality and realize they need to offer this car in an automatic/dual clutch transmission as well. But thats only if they want to compete with competitors and sell more cars. Also the fual tank is definitely on the small side at 12 gallons. That mpg's arent horrible, but thats a small tank, and lower miles range per tank....Nice car, and review. I like that you just drove the car, and didnt spend 8 minutes going over the interior gadgets and trunk space and usb ports, like so many bad car reviewers do on youtube. Just drive the damn car and tell me what you think ! Especially with a sporty car like this one !
