Junior year I bought an 05 v6 pretty lame. But now I’m in my first year of college and I’m saving for a gt. You can do both. I’ll admit it’s really stressful working this many hours with school but It can be done. Plan on getting one by July this year.

Tyler went to college for a few years and quit. Only thing that helped me was gaining experience and internships. Now work in a pretty good field and was able to afford my GT. College is a two way street. Use them the way they use you to pay those bitch ass loans to attend.

For anyone that thinks the shifts are too slow, pay attention to shifts when he's really on the gas. Sport mode makes the shifts quicker, but it's only really noticeable when you really hit the gas, like at 7:13. If that's too slow for you, then it just is. The paddle lag is definitely there, but it is a lot better than manual shifting in most autos. It takes some getting used to, but it isn't bad once you do. The only issue I have with the transmission is that the torque converter doesn't seem to be able to lock below 3rd gear, and the shifts are noticeably faster when it is locked. It also doesn't like the engine running under 2000 RPM when using the paddle shifters, so it feels a little clunky trying to drive it normally with the paddles. Otherwise, it's refined and smooth, and pretty quick and responsive for an 8 year old automatic. It's also exceptionally tough, I wouldn't worry about it until you reach about the 800 HP mark. I do think Ford has milked it for just about all it has, so the 10 speed can't come fast enough.

I had a '16 Mustang GT as a rental for a couple of days. I couldn't believe how good the V8 sounds for a factory exhaust. Car was blisteringly fast. Wasn't comfortable to sit in, but fun drive!

Whatever you like, my parents have a AUTO GT mustang and they use it for cruising aswell. Get manual if your gonna drive it fast / modify it. Automatic is good for cruising and still goes pretty fast aswell.

This was supposed to be a video demonstrating the automatic transmission. He should have left it in D and toggled it to Sport+ to show the aggressive acceleration of this spirited drive mode..track even, not use the manually selectshfit in S.

Does the car have a manual mode with the automatic transmission? Like a mode where you can just shift down and up with the paddels? Because sometimes you might want to hold a gear for a longer time and it would be annoying if it shifts up when you don't want it to.

+Mr. Magoo Hi, I'm paying £28 Grand for the basic EcoBoost, but as I'm having all the options put on, ( Performance pack is standard fit in UK for the Mustang ), and having the Premium Pack fitted, it comes out at £ 32,634 Total !!!! I don't think that is expensive. You can pay that for an A5, or a BMW, and get half the fun. The first Mustangs get here mid November. Mine....August 2016. I was at Disney in Florida, and saw one. Thought, mmm. I having one of them. But why they So much cheaper in the U.S ??

seems like the paddle shifters have a delay... but the actual gear chances are pretty snappy for an auto, @3:18 that 2nd gear came at a Dual Clutch speed.
