In this review, I look at the 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo. This is definitely a sleeper! It has a 1.6L 4-cylinder turbocharged engine. It produces 201hp and 195lb-fit of torque. It runs a 0-60 in 6.8 seconds and is one of the most aggressive cars on the road today!

I just purchased that exact model last Friday and I absolutely love it! It's really fun to drive. How ever I've noticed it seems to burn a lot of fuel. I filled up my 2015 Hyundai Veloster Turbo on Sunday and by Tuesday night I was on A little less than half a tank of gas. I work 34.4 miles from home. That's 68.8 miles round trip. And I never had that problem with my crappy 2011 Ford Fusion Se. Is anyone else having the same issue as far as fuel efficiency? And before I forget...... Thanks for the video! 👍👍👍👍👍☝

when i got my veloster for my 16th birthday day i was a bit dissapointed, because i wanted a nissan 350z, but when i sat in the veloster and started driving it, it imeadiately put a smile on my face, its a great car with good handling, good on gas, and overall a great car, so im very happy with it, i love my veloster

I've had mine for 3 months, just like this one but black, and I LOVE IT! You mentioned the low growl, as I like to call it. People underestimate the get up it has. I do have a question though. It was warm when I bought it, and I live in Denver. I'm going to be driving in snowy weather so I was wondering what your thoughts were as far as how it handled in the snowy, cold and slick conditions? thanks in advanced!

+Genevieve Jackson It held its own pretty well. I would encourage you to invest in some good snow tires! But as for just cold conditions, it was always in control. Another little tip that I would like to pass on, let the engine run a little before driving in the cold. I have a genesis coupe, and across the board with hyundai's, they need time to warm up.

SamuraiRevolution I would say the standard model is similar to the CRZ. I haven't had that much experience with the CRZ though, I will most likely have the CRZ review up in the near future. The turbo model is almost a completely different car, drive wise. It all depends on what you value in a car, if you are looking for something fun to drive, and that it is important in the car you buy, get the turbo!

How was the front seat size? I am a bigger guy (width, not height) and a lot of smaller cars cut into the size of the seats to make them too narrow for comfort.

+Jacob Aolao Are you considering it new? If so, the insurance will be decent, especially if you go withtthe turbocharged model. Insurance is often calculate by a hp/torque to weight ratio, and as a teenager, your multiplier will be incredibly high. However, it would be low if you can hop onto your parents insurance because of the safety features and warranties that Hyundai offers. As a first car, it would be awesome! It is a really fun car to drive, but i advise going for a test drive first!

MrCoolbat It would be a great first car. It is inexpensive to own, extremely fun, has all the tech you could need, and hyundai offers some pretty great warranties. But you should definitely get out and see the car, and what might be offered with it!

Auto Enthusiast I traded my VW Passat 2.0T (2007) for this, I have had a few "sports" cars, all good, some with turbo.. but I IMMEDIATELY had a good experience the moment I took the VT for a test drive, and I bought it (2015 - VT - Tech Package, black, M/T). It's been the BEST driving, most fun, and all around good buy ($24,500 out the door). I drive it as my local commute car, it is exhilarating,

I am planning to get this car asap. I had a test drive. The pick up has a certain lag of 2 seconds, but thats cool , i am ok with it though. What flaws do you see in this car?

I am a big guy, so the seats are kinda small.. no electric seats.. and replacing headlights is going to be a pain, but other than that none really. It's a sports car, so it's not a luxury \ long trip car, but this is by far the best car I have ever owned, so even with whatever minor flaws exist, I 100% love this car.

Steering is not "sporty" has a very light feel to it sort of what youd expext from a corolla or 2015 and below civic. But id still would get this car as a daily.
