I've seen sooo many XE reviews but found yours better than almost all. It's extremely informative and confirmed all i think of the 2015 XE 25t...i own Bluefire one and love it to bits! Also find it much more of a head-turner than it's rivals. The drive is prolly the best. Thanks Shahzad!

This is an old video but I stumbled across it watching XE reviews. Fantastic review. You capture a lot of great nuances and are very well spoken. About the best review I have seen. Great fun. You are blessed with a nice road there. I have had just a month with my XE 25T RSport in White with Red Black interior and Black pack and goodness it's a lovely thing. It's my 4th Jag and I was unsure about a smaller model, but it looked so enticing in the showroom. After a diesel XF Sportbrake (I truly hated that engine) the XE in this spec is sooo much fun. The handling makes my previous XF RSport feel like a barge. Thanks again for a great fun review!

I am sure it is probably a software problem with the gearbox, uncles '10 XFR has the old ZF 6 speed, and that did the same when we had it first, was a real pain! A software update sorted that with no problems! It's amazing now!

I have a 2017 R Sport AWD with the 25t Ingenium engine. It is a fantastic car and I have had it remapped to 300bhp. Fast enough for my skillset and better fuel efficiency than the V6. Sadly the V6 sounds so much better though!

Great review! Got 2 doubts though, how good is the steering actually? Im not a fan of electric steering systems and so far the only ones I've driven that seems decent are on the latest Audi's (2016 models), so has this got better feel and weight compared to that? Also which road is this? I tend to take a drive through the mountainous parts of UAE every now and then but don't recollect having been on this road, would love to try this out as well! Thanks!

+Adi Nair [Shahzad] I agree with you, I prefer non-electric power steering, but the entire industry is going that way. The Jag's helm really is better than most - definitely worth taking it for a test drive and deciding for yourself. +MotoringMiddleEast Yeah, Its sad the auto industry is moving toward electric. But its at least better than having fully autonomous cars as a standard. But anyway thats good news regarding the XE, the choice in my opinion has always been that or the 3 series, might go for a test drive soon. And thanks a lot! Need to try that Shj-Kalba and Jebel Jais roads :D

I don't know why all the demo cars seem to be in white, I think its the least flattering colour for this car. Silver or grey suit it much better. Although 240hp from the 2.0 is pretty good, it doesnt really sound all that exciting. The V6 S is the dream choice as it sounds glorious and goes very well. Most reviewers say it is more fun than a 335i.
