Has anyone tracked down where in the Gospel of Matthew we can find the precepts? This is very important to know for any Christian relatives who are close to death.

Matthew 5 seems to have lots of useful ethical advice that might resonate with Christians.

The last thought before dying isn't that important! Buddha said that what you did in your lifetime, where your heart is developed that decides where your next life is starting. We don't need to fear one though at the end! (S55,21)

The last mind in this life ( which of course will be influenced by the type of life led..), becomes the first mind in the next life ...the last mind determines the place of rebirth and as such is massively important ....
