Hi Vinaybhai, I have problem with sync system on MKT. Sound and display is faded Ssome time. So what's the cause for it? Any idea?

Does the navigation information in the dashboard still works after the upgrade?

Yes but it defaults to CarPlay. So if the phone is not connected, navigation works from the car. If the phone is connected, car navigation will not work. Only google maps or Apple Maps or Waze will work through CarPlay.

Thanks for the video I have a 2013 MKT and am about to do the switch. I'm curious what the RED Toggle switch does? Is that Nitrous Injection?

Can you tell me which red toggle switch you are talking about? At what time in the video do you see it? It’s definitely not for nitrous. Lol.

Yes, I put it under the center speaker. The kit comes with a double sided tape to stick it on but mine is not stuck. I’ve never heard it move or rattle.

So hows upgrade sound. is it slow? Is it a faster interface? Did you loose any functionality?

I feel sound has improved as I can now listen to volume 8 or 9 and it goes up to 25. The interface is super fast. I don’t have to press hard. Barely a touch does the job. Very smooth. I did not lose any functionality.

I was under the assumption that my 2015 mkt had sync 1.. am I wrong, or was your system upgraded to sync 2 at one point? Either way, thanks for the video!

2015 came with Sync 2. Maybe it’s the date of manufacture. But yes sync 3 touch screen is 100 times better. Fast and responsive. If you can find the upgrade module for around $500, it’s a must.
