Thank you making this video! It made the job much easier. I had trouble reconnecting the hose at the bottom and had to put it on first. I fought with it for about 20 minutes before taking it off and trying it that way around. It worked better for me. No issue lining it up afterwards.

Did this yesterday. Changed all 4 as two were knackered. Thanks good video and instructive. Had an issue with the locking springs but all ok in the end. Thanks. Got all 4 glow plugs for £80 Bosch ones. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Thank you for this awesome video! My A Class 1.5 diesel 2014 / 75k miles has had the Glow Plug and Engine Management light on for 15k miles. It has no symptoms but I need to get rid of the lights in a halal way before I can sell it. How much would this job cost?

Great video. Got a P0380 fault code on my son's A180. Wanted to see if this would be a garage-only job or something I could do myself, with only problem being I'm not familiar with this engine. You've made a really clear and straight to point guide, giving me confidence in sorting this out myself. Only question I have is did you test the glow plugs by simply using leads from a 12v car battery, or other source? It'll save me on rushing out to buy another multimeter (can't find mine!)

It could be I think you should look at the EGR valve

Hi thanks for watching really appreciate it. To be honest you can torque them up but I just tighten them up by hand

My 2014 mercedes 1.5 cdi has the glow plug light and engine light does that mean it actually does need changing. What symptoms would show if the glowplugs need changing. Thankyou

Thanks for watching really appreciate it. Mainly it would struggle to start up from cold. Probably will go into limp home mode. On my Audi one of the glow plugs stopped working which caused the injector to stop working
