yes I did and they had balls to offer me $1,800 to remove my videos. and as I stated I drove 2017 on the same road and it did the same thing. so I'm sharing this that people would know, and before getting the car to test drive it and check the GPS. thank you

Is it me or this looks like the GL550 sold in US? I don't think that look in diesel models was sold in US, unfortunately

My parents have this car same year, but highest trim. Im 6 feet and it feels huge to me. But this car is completely unaffordable to own letalone buy unless you are a 1%er like my parents. Its intended to be the S class of SUVs, and it delivers on that ambition. But: The air suspension loves to break, the oil changes cost a fortune, the giant tires and rims are 3 times the price of normal cars' tires and rims and you have the dealership upselling you every time you turn around. If you do happen to be a 1%er, the ride is unbelievably good, the SUV can tow like a full size pickup, it fast enough, 1 tank gets you 1100km, the interior is beautiful and beyond luxurious, and the technology is miles ahead of normal cars. Its also stunningly beautiful for an SUV.

If you can afford a $100k SUV, you can afford the maintenance on it. Simply put. If you break the bank to buy one, well, trouble is on the way, just like with any other premium vehicle.

The only thing plauging these OM642 engines are the oil cooler seals that needs to be replaced down the line... If you are lucky they have replaced it to a new material called viton

Very true have it with my ml , still not terrible keep an eye on it and you’ll still make a killing on fuel Milage and torque

Apparently Mercedes-Benz GL models has a problem with the GPS navigation system, it shows that you're on the highway when you're on the service road or you're on the service road when you're on the highway, and Mercedes USA is telling us it's normal because all GLs are doing it and that makes it OK, so don't buy that GPS navigation option. We created a You Tube videos just to prove that it's not normal that your navigation system telling you to turn on the street when you're on the highway. We test drove a brand new 2017 GLS today and it did a same thing. +Hagop Boyadjian thanks for sharing this info. If the two roads are within 10ft of each other, it is a general GPS technology limitation and not the car's fault. But have you tried phones or portable GPS units at the same spots to see what happens?

These reviews are worthless. Review it after five years after some real world driving. For example, air suspension systems are problematic at best and costly to repair. Oil leaks occur and are expsnsive to repair. I always chuckle when reviewers review a new car and praise it highly.
