@@chasegrady7635 Any new cars developed after they moved to Atlanta from NJ are the ones that basically fell apart. Yours is probably the last good one before all the electrical and hybrid issues!

@@DMCarReviews I wanted to see a specific test and I believe you are the perfect guy to do it, if you ever come across a hellcat(charger or challenger) when you do the 0-60, can you try a run starting off in 2nd gear? Because I feel like people using launch control or modulating the throttle themselves is kind of a waste of time, I would really like to see how starting in 2nd gear does

This is what you would call a true E Class with a V6 engine that was reliable and naturally aspirated. This is the best looking E Class of all time and it was when a Mercedes was still truly manufactured like one. Nothing will beat this E class especially with the reliability and body style along with the V6 power.

I have a late 2012 C Class, which is like the little brother of this one. Really a great generation of MBs from the 90s until mid 2010s. I especially like the 2010s MBs since they all have that modern feel, but still that sort of analog style you'd expect from older generations, like all of the physical buttons, real instrument clusters with a small display on the inside. Separate digital infotainment system, that still works to this day with all phones. My iPhone connects to it with ease, I can play music from it, when someone calls, I can accept the call from the call and even if I don't the car knows better to turn down the music. Most engines are very reliable. In general very reliable cars if you take care of them and change parts in time. It really makes me wonder if the next car I own should be a an W212 facelift E class with a V6 like the one in the video.

I have owned E-Classes since 2002 and now have the exact same car that you tested. My 99 E-430 was fast but not as balanced. My 2002 E320 4matic wagon, a comfortable kiddie hauler but handled heavily and not fast. 2006 E-320 CDI with inline diesel was bullet proof and one of the best they ever made. I got over 41mpg on one highway trip but the interior was a bit unrefined. The 2015 with the V6 is everything you said. Comfortable daily driver, sporty when you want it to be and you can emerge from a 12hr road trip and feel great! It exudes "balance" in ever parameter.

i have an 05 E320 and it’s a great (albeit quite slow) car, and every time i think i should upgrade to a V8 model, i see these and they seem more than adequate. (my hunger for a V8 is probably just because my dad has a CLS550 and that thing is awesome)

@@robisking528 The rollout feature is off. With a 1ft rollout, it would be 5.0 seconds (how Car & Driver tests). Note, this is also in the rain. I bet I could do slightly better in the dry. This car is completely stock, no modifications. There isn't really anything that you can do with the E350's, unlike the E550's which can be ECU flashed to make more power.

This was back then Mercedes was consistent now they’re falling off and sadly falling behind the rest of the Germans. Their build quality is not that good anymore and their reliability is definitely a huge 👎. It’s better off buying an Acura or Lexus at this point since they’re the long lasting ones.
