2015 Mini Cooper 5 Door Review

The mini 5 door is actually quite nimble and packed with technology for the occupants. I was impressed on the upgraded electronics and was very happy to see that nice TFT touch screen display. Thank you for listening to your customers Mini! The 5 door option just puts the icing on the cake.

You are absolutely correct. The frame of the vehicle is made from steel (and in some areas high tensile steel) and the suspension is made from aluminum alloy. Good find and thank you for the correction.

@@novaltomy8336 In 2 years (the vehicule is almost 7 years old) I have changed one valve thing (evap i think?) and the OEM battery :P Proper oil changes are the key!

Seriously? U have to add a mustache? How cliche. MINI Cooper sales has been down due to this new design, poor reliability, high cost to fix. This is all from families and friends that owned one. They swear they will never go back to a MINI ever again. Good luck for the future, you guys really need it.

I have to agree on the mustache part. The new mini actually has a pretty good drive-train. I believe the 2.0L I reviewed is BMW's N20 engine (which is an amazing engine btw) but know one could confirm it with me.It's also impossible to find this info on the internet. The mini controller and the new centre console screen has been taken right from a BMW. I can tell you that this car is light years ahead of the previous gen.

Running the risk of being too nitpicky... 6 minutes minimum got spent spent on what the little screen in the centre console does. You could have spent 30 seconds explaining each function in short and cut the video to 14 minutes max. Then you called this a review. It's not. It's a showcase. There is no testing, no opinion on drive quality and economy. No opinion on build quality. For someone that came here to actually see a review to make up my mind on buying one I am leaving feeling as if I have wasted 24 minutes of my life.

If you don't think that's it's important to know all the functions of a vehicle before purchasing then why would you watch any review? A proper review goes over every aspect of the car. We review the car in detail so people know what they are buying. We don't give our opinion in these videos. We have a website for that. Also it's a Mini. If your serious in purchasing the vehicle then you already know how it drives or will go out and test drive one. You don't need to hear me rant about my complaints. That's why we created this channel. It's one of the only channels out there that give you all the facts.

A fact is only a fact once a claim is tested and verified to be fact. You did NO testing!

I think the Mini Coopers are ugly. The mustache makes it worse.
