This week i go ahead and remove the front bumper to my nissan versa. was this a big mistake?

Thank you for this, man! A deer took out the left headlight and knocked the bumper off its left clips (honestly, cleanest damage ever from a deer, ngl). The headlight came in and you know the first step is to pull up a video to see how others do it! You're the real MVP for making sure the hole you found was filled for us coming after!

Right? People will always try to go through insurance. Your rates go up, because you're filing a claim, and you usually can fix a lot of it. I hit a deer. Left headlight case broken (rest of it was fine), bumper off its clips, and a dent. Five minutes with a plunger later, and what would have been a $500 claim cost me $100 for the headlight and a lil elbow grease!

Used this video to replace the headlight in my car.Great help.I was able to get it off fairly easy.There is a panel clip inside the car right in the grill area.Once I got all the clips and bolts out of the bumper, the clip inside , near the grill of car had to be taken off and then bumper was free to come off.

Yes but if you have to remove your grille like a versa note had 2 pins that hold it up either the headlight just pulled it out with upwards motion

Just gotta pull it off like you hate it lol. If you are gentle with it it will take you hours. Took 10 seconds for us.

Could be the same, just go through and make sure you are careful and cautious. Always make sure you have taken every bolt off before tugging

I can't get the bumper seam around the drivers side head light to fit tight. Does the plastic tabs on of the bumper go over or under the headlight protruding tabs?

DeWALTer_White if you are talking about the white/clear tab under the headlight next to the fender, then the bumper cover goes over it . It should just push in place with a little bit of force

Go on Amazon and type in Nissan Bumper Fasteners . Should be $10 for like 20-30 of them

Anhelica Sandoval if I’m not mistaken you should be able to just pull it off. They just push in and have tabs in the back to to hold it in place. A littlest force from pulling on one side and slowly removing it might work.

fel tir I never did anything with the license plate bulbs. But my best guess is either pooping off the clear plastics or inside the trunk there should be a tab for it.

Bobby Avila yes, there are 4 bolts that hold down the head light, one up top, one on the side of the bumper and 2 by the bumper support bar.
