Technicaly, Lando is one of the most diverse mons, ranging from bulky to offensive. Choice scarf, Assault Vest, choice band, Sash, Life orb... Even the moves seemed to be more strange at worlds with so many Knock off's and Rock Tombs

Nope. It's extremely obvious that Koki would want to switch to Heatran because Mark was probably going to use Heat Wave with Zard. Flash Fire raises its Fire-type moves' power and it would be in Trick Room, so it was likely a slow Heatran as Zard 2 HKOed it anyway. A full powered Heat Wave in sun would do a lot to Cress and a double up would have KOed it and remove Mark's ability to Trick Room. Then Lando comes in, Intimidating a potential Machamp in the back (which it was) and go from there. I'm a competitive player so maybe that's why my opinion differs with yours ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Edit: I know I'm really late so please excuse that lol
