2015 Reading Goals & Resolutions.

Starting the year as I mean to go on. Here are my 3 reading-themed resolutions/aspirations for 2015! I thought by putting some structure in place I might well achieve them.

This comment is going to be a bit all over the place but first I love your jumper & your bedding!! I really liked hearing your reading goals they all sound like great goals i've heard a lot of peoples goals for reading in 2015 but I really enjoyed hearing yours and thank-you for sharing the list in the description to the 25 books I'm going to check that out right after writing this sounds so interesting. Also I just stumbled upon this video but with you mentioning your other channel I went along and clicked to your other channel and even though so far i've only just watched one of your videos on that channel it was just captivating and your an amazing singer and will be watching many more of your videos! on both channels :) so happy to have found you & your videos here! Definitely checking out that list of 25 books as recommended by Lisa Simpson! There's a lot on there that I've always wanted to read but never got around to. I'm really interested in your poetry videos because I'm really lost at trying to find poetry I enjoy and where to start. Good luck with your resolutions!!

I normally don't make New Years Resolutions, but since it is about books, I'll make an exception. :) 1. To read more. I have a HUGE backlog of books I need to read. I'm compulsive about getting free e-books. I am subscribed to a free daily email service that searches Amazon mostly for free or discounted e-books based on my selected categories. There's at least 1 free book I get nearly every day. 2. For those books I've read and enjoyed, to leave reviews on their Amazon page in support. 3. Purchase other books from those authors I've found and liked. I've done this some in 2014, but there are some series that I need to follow up on and purchase the remainder of the series. 4. Share those gems I find with others that have similar tastes. 5. Read, or re-read some of the classics with new eyes. I had read Robinson Crusoe as a youth, and loved the sense of adventure, self-dependence. I re-read it last year, and wow, what a difference. I was shocked at how casually some topics like slavery were treated, even given the time period it was written.

I was kind of thinking that new years resolutions were stupid bc no one ever keeps them. but I think a youtube new years resolution is a great idea and a good way to document it.
