FYI a new drain plug gasket from Toyota is like 80cents..

I replaced the washer on oil plug every time ,don't have to over tight and the plug doesn't come loose .use the green washer

How tight are you supposed to screw on the oil filter once you put it back on?

The torque spec is on the part; 25 N•m. The drainbolt on the oil filter cap should be 12.5 N•m Drainplug on oil pan = 40N•m (30 ft.lbs.)
