How to do an Oil Change on a 2011 - 2016 Scion TC

In this video I pretty much show how to do a oil change, One of the easiest maintenance things you can do to your car and save a little money doing it yourself too. it costs me 40$ to do this stuff myself as to where the nearest shop charges anywhere from 70$ - 100$ depending on which oil you want to put in.

Just had to fight mine to get the oil filter housing off and now my filter cap tool is stuck on the housing. Luckily I didn't loosen the metal piece on the bottom so I was able to do the rest of the oil change. Any ideas on how to get a stuck tool off?

Torque Specs: Drain plug: 30ft lbs Oil filter: 18.5ft lbs Filter drain valve plug: 10ft lbs

That was the best part. It added emphasis to the importance of not doing what he mentioned. All but one of the "teeth" or "notches" on my filter housing were broken off (not my doing), and trying to get that filter off had me and my help cussing.

Tighten by hands? Not with those plastic type. Tight until rim of the filter touch the metal surface, last few turns need tools
