Holy Carp....this was literally the best instruction video I have ever seen. BOTH my license and debit card went into this Abyss and had no idea how the F to get them out. took me 1 min to find those two things.......one of our debit cards we lost 6 months before and 12 other business cards/dr appt cards in there dating back to 2012 with the previous owners. Thank God I found this. My wife is driving a grand caravan rental while our vehicle is in the shop. She thought she went crazy and couldn't find her military ID after placing on the compartment door. Tested my ID through the slit and identified the problem. Thanks for saving the day.

Thank you, Thank you, THANK YOU! Now I know where my old ATM card is.....and where my NEW ATM card is. It didn't occur to me ~6 months ago that it slid into that console, but I knew for sure that's where I placed my card yesterday. After looking inside/outside the vehicle, I realized that it had to have gone through that narrow slot. I used my license to gauge the size and sure enough, it could have slid right in there as well. So, thanks for this video. We were looking at it and couldn't figure out how we would get it open. It's good knowing that nobody go ahold of my old card (cancelled immediately), but I'm happy we will be able to retrieve this one without paying the bank a crazy replacement charge. :)

You rock! I lost my debit card after setting it on the center console accordion-type cover last week and then having to slam on my brakes b/c I thought I was going to be t-boned. I looked in every nook and cranny in my 2016 Town & Country and couldn't find it. Tonight on a whim I Googled "lost credit card in Town & Country". And your video popped right up! I couldn't believe how many people had also lost credit cards, licenses and even wedding rings in their vans. Your video is so well done; so easy to understand and follow. We went right out to the garage and lifted the console cover with ease. At I first didn't see the card but I used a high beam flashlight and was able to see just the thin, white edge of the card as far forward as possible. The cover also went back on easily following your instructions. Thank you for making this 64 year old woman roar!!!

Anthony, you just saved us! God bless you sir!!! We rented a 2018 Dodge Caravan to drive the long way to our daughter's college graduation. Hubby ran a last minute errand before we left and threw his license and credit up on the console. We got ready to go and neither were on there anymore and figured out they slid behind but tried to get back there to no avail. Rental place already closed and hubby was so SO UPSET at himself that he got loud enough you could hear him on the moon! Blood pressure alert! Found your video and within minutes we were able to get both cards. Obviously the design is STILL flawed and you are a good man for sharing such a helpful video. We wish we could do more than just say a big THANK YOU!!!

Thank you so much for making this video....you saved my butt. I had a rental Dodge van & my driver's license mysteriously disappeared right after I got in the car and was trying to exit. Avis wouldn't allow me to leave and thought I was crazy eventhough I had just shown them my ID a few minutes earlier. To make matters worse I had 3 people waiting for me to pick them up in front of the airport. After 45 minutes of ripping out mats going through my wallet over and over I figured that it had slid under the small opening on the console but it didn't appear there was an easy way to access it. Long story short...I googled the issue and came across your video and it was so damn easy. Thanks again and the makers of this vehicle can shove it.

Man your awesome! I was signing to take this vehicle as a rental car and put my credit card down and it slid in. The guy from enterprise was like yeah u need to just cancel it and get a new card and the manager at the office said they were not willing to take it to a dealership to have the card removed. You made my day! I sometimes misplace things by distraction and this one would have been my worse time ever if I had not taken stock of the fact that my driver's license was still where I had placed it after the check-in booth of the recycling facility. I moved my car to dump stuff (10 seconds, and maybe 50 yards) and could not find my license anymore. Thank god that I KNEW where it was 10 seconds earlier. The mechanic suggested using a small screwdriver to pry it off by going all around it. He didn't seem sure of it so I searched for a video and yours came up!

Thanks so much. I went to the gas station, was handed back my card and receipt, was on my phone, put the card and receipt on the front sliding door, and drove away. I subconsciously heard a click as I drive away and continued my conversation. When I hung up the phone, I began looking for my card, to put it back in my wallet. I couldn't find it. I got home and searched the whole front seating area with a flashlight...No luck. Then I stopped and thought about the click I'd heard and where the card could have gone. I realized that maybe it slid along with the door, into some plastic Alice-in-Wonderland rabbit hole. I hopped on KZbin, to see if someone had posted instructions on console disassembly. Low and Behold...I found your video, and it described my exact situation! Awesome! Thanks for saving me a boatload of time and aggravation! I really appreciate it. BTW, I also found a kids' DVD, a CD, a few business cards, with my card. Bad design Mopar! Have a great day.

This saved my life from never accessing that front drawer again. It was hopelessly stuck until your video. Bonus: clearly there have been A LOT of coffee and sodas spilled in that console. If I’m ever stuck in a snowstorm, I can lick through the layers of spills to stay alive a few more days. It would also work to hold off a diabetic coma or four.

gosh, same thing happened. But Dodge/Chrysler wanted to keep my van for a whole afternoon and charge me $116 for the service to do this, saying that to be aware it might have a rattle after they take the console apart. This is hysterical. I was searching KZbin for a video to show how to remove the center console, because my wife was at the credit union and set her driver's license on the exact same spot and saw her license slide inside the console as she pulled up to drive thru.
