LOL... I own a 2019 3500HD Denali currently, and have had GM HD's since 2003. Never had a single issue. You got me though. I was looking at all the features you were pointing out and I was like "I've never seen that on a GM." Then, you showed the front suspension, and I was like "the reason I love GM is that they DON'T have a solid front axle." And then I was like, "That's a ford mirror." "That's a Ford bed." LOL... got 'eem!

LOL - I wouldn't own a ford ever again. After two 6.0 Diesels - never again. Bro and I just ordered two Denali HD L5P's. Interior of GMC is far superior to Ford's plastic covered interior and the ride quality is also superior. I don't even need to mention the price difference between Denali and Platinum - enough to buy a second used vehicle to have as a daily driver. L5P blows the Ford 6.7 out of the water on acceleration and MPG. Ford only wins on towing but I don't need to be able to move a church from one spot to another so 23k pounds is plenty. Great video.

You had me fooled, I'm a steel worker, worker in the lab also, and you can't compare size of axle or sound when banging, as you can go a lot thinner with stronger steel, unless you have the mill specs it's really not a fair comparison, also if you take the same steel, I.e, frame, and put a couple of bends in it it increases the strength exponential, also with the door if you put a bracket Behind the door it will sound more solid, so all depends where you hit it, love your videos wish you would do a video of what you like in the Denali.

Lot of knowledgeable guys here, what of the big 3 diesels, in 3/4 tons get the best mileage, and what do they get nowadays, my lbz gave me around 19 on the highway with bigger tires, 265/75/16.
@BTBRVReviews8 жыл бұрын
roger brandt: Most are about the same... Driving behavior, altitude, load, wind speed/direction (more than anything), Humidity, temperature, tire size, air resistance, mods (light bars, racks, brush guard) and slope all greatly effect MPGs. A light bar up front actually has more of a negative impact of MPGs than tire size believe it or not. How wind transfers around the surface of the vehicle (co-efficient) is the single most impactful force against your vehicle. So......all that nerd stuff out of the way.... most get between 12-14 unloaded City, 17-18 unloaded hwy, and 11-13 Loaded City and 12-14 loaded hwy...... That's what I've observed
@rogerbrandt66788 жыл бұрын
+Big Truck Big RV when I had the tires that came with my 2500 Silverado, 2006 at 60,000km believe it or not I was getting 26 mpg,, hand calculated, doing 65mph in the Rocky Mountains. They were small tires 245/65/16.

The real shame is, nobody (including me) got that this was done as a joke. I am in the market for a 3-6 year old HD truck and came here because BTBRV is one of the channels I value the opinion of. After watching the first half, I moved on to learn more about Ford and Ram since GMC "sucked" so badly. But then it clicked on me, "Wait....GM is still using IFS" and came back to rewatch this and kept going to see what else he got wrong.....This time making it to the end and finding out he was showing a Ford the entire time. People are not watching to the end and you are doing a real disservice to your audience who are not coming here for comedy. 7 years later people still aren't getting that this is a joke.

Constructive criticism...yes I watched it to the end and believe me sarcasm runs in my veins, but your approach was a little confusing. It's hard to tell if you really like certain features on the 250 or whether you find it to be a flaw. That being said, I just switched from a 2015 f250 to a 2017 f350 dually, and have been nothing but impressed (with the exception of the rear cup holder). (This coming from someone who had a 2002 f250 Lemmon). Thanks for the videos! And for the haters...I owned two Tundras...loved 'em both, but they couldn't handle a 42' fifth wheel.

beau w: Thanks for the comment Beau. So, I knew my video would be a little confusing to those who followed it all the way through. The video was totally a joke. I simply wanted to see if people actually watched the entire video or started posting hateful comments and then never finishing. The real purpose was to see if anyone felt the need to defend the "GMC" parts and components I was talking about before finishing the video. I get to see what people post before deleting their comments, and I can tell you, some of the things people commented on were quite funny, but then when (and if) they finished the video, they deleted their comment. One comment was from a guy who said "That rear axle is the best axle GM has ever put in a truck and proceeded to give me a paragraph explanation explaining why....before he deleted his comment..I guess after finishing the video. Another person actually commented by saying "How on earth could you claim the solid front axle on the Denali is less robust than the Ford's piece of crap axle, I've known for months that GM was switching, so that's old news".
