My mom loves it. Black on brown leather with wood trim. She sometimes forgets to hold down the brake on start on and starts to freak out that her car won’t start sometimes though LOL. At this class, it dominates the Acura’s, Genesises, Infiniti’s and even Lexuses.

It's probably not leather seats. Mercedes is very fond of plastic "leather".

I bought my 2016 a couple years ago and none of the hand free options to open the trunk work. The only way I can open it is to manually use the handle in the back or the key fob trunk button. The switch on the drivers door doesn't work. I've even bought new fuses & put in a new one according to the schematic setting. Did nothing! As for the motioning your foot under the tailgate to open/close the trunk, that doesn't work either. So I even took it into the Mercedes dealership. Had to wait around over 2 hrs & then pay an $86 bill to be told that the month my car was made was just before they added this feature for that year & model. Do have any suggestions for a relatively easy fix??

Good walkaround and explanation in total. But sorry, what you are telling on 1:38 is not true. When you say that you love the leather seats you should know the difference between leather and plastic. What you got in the GLC interior are vinyl seats only, called Artico. Leather seats in a GLC model got real leather with a different surface and they are also different stitched. The only one material which is real leather is on the wheel instead of what you are explaining on 9:09 "Artico leather". Artico is always artificial material. Btw due to the fact that platic seats are not "breathing" the vinyl seats are perforated as you can see on your GLC seats. On 9:19 you say it is too bad that you can't smell the car interior and it is your favorite fragrance... lol... I would say luckely, because in this case the fragrance is created by acrylic only. On the good side it is nice to see that you are explaining a lot about the car and also very much detailed. Thx.

For the Artico, when we refer to MB website, we have this description : ARTICO Leather / Leather Upholstery or Black ARTICO Man-Made Leather, so you are right to precise the Artico mention but there is still the leather mention. so might get a little mixed up between those two mentions with my notes. and you got us on the steering wheel! you are right. for the smell inside the car, a lot of my passenger love it too, so it's hard to give you input with the camera on that :P take care!

Great, I also like those ones with detail and precision! And yes you are right with the ARTICO Leather description made by Daimler. Unfortunately it is not, but it should be named by MB : "Artico Leather imitation". Because Artico is the shortcut for Arti-ficial co-mposite polymer. But the Mercedes Marketing is stronger and so it got its own description which gives it a more valuable name for the clueless customers. BTW in the good old days this vinyl material was named bei Mercedes : MB tex (tex is the German shortcut for textile). A different name in the 1980s but the same material like today. Good day to you and keep going on your good and comprehensive explanation.

I really like the GLC and I was so disappointed when after being so impressed with the test drive, we discovered that it is almost impossible not to touch the sill with your leg. It was raining and the back of my legs were wet and dirty as a consequence. I was ready to buy one up to that point.Your comments would be welcome.
