10 Gen Honda Civic
Please Note that removal procedure is the same for coupe, sedan and Hatchback civic.
Fitment wise coupe and sedan have the same dash layout and are interchangable.
A hatchback including Type R dash is different and technically will not fit a sedan or a coupe. It is unconfirmed if you can make it fit with modifications.
Also note a hatchback dash is significantly cheaper from the dealer as compared to a sedan/coupe ($200 compared to $600+)

a lot of plastic panels will end up chipped or scratched no matter how gentle you are. the interior plastic on the civic although well finished and good looking is very cheap and easily prone to scuffs

Have you ever had to replace the dash wiring harness? My civic is pulling that code after replacing everything else. Srs module, front sensors , front seat belts clock spring andb wheel air bag. Just curious, have never had to do that.

If you remove the dashboard and unplug all the wires that are needed to remove it, does that mean the dashboard will need to be reprogrammed?

No, the dashboard has no electronics in it so no need to reprogram anything. You can simply plug everything back together and you should be good to go.

If I only need to replace the drivers and passenger side air vents, do I need to dissemble the entire dashboard? 😢 It’s literally just broken vent clips that the dealership quotes me $1700 to fix but the part is $30 on eBay so I want to do it myself without having to take the entire dashboard apart.

is it just the air vent trim from the outside? if so then no. But if its on the inside of the dash then yes

sorry I dont have the car any more or another to work on. It should be the exact opposite. If you did the same bolt organization like I did, just start from the last ones. Hope you were able to get it done!

Sedan and Coupe (one piece) are same Dash, for Hatchback it is different (2 pieces). Make sure you buy the correct one. if you have the 5 Speaker system you can attempt what I did in the video otherwise I recommend to buy the correct one. It will be the same fitment if you buy for the same dash id not know what else to tell you

i see you replaced the airbags i have the same car with airbags now replaced . did you have to reset the airbag ECU crash data?

yes, their is a local place in my area that does it, otherwise their is a place you can send out your ECU to get it reset

im not sure, it depends on what you find the parts for, usually $150 for dash airbag, around $350 for curtain airbag and the dash its self is roughly $300 or so
