concise...? "The turning ratio on this is really good..." Good in relation to what? like most americans, its all about the pop but no substance. Personally, I found it lacking in anything substantive. Still though... wouldn't mind having one out the drive.

@Gold Pony I own a 2011 Audi TT. So what you're saying is. I should have waited for the exterior look and interior features. The stats, speed, etc is almost exactly the same, so not too jealous there.

I know this video is from 8 years ago, but I’ve only just came across it and wanted to ask a couple of questions I’ll be buying an Audi TT 2015-2018 soon, but I cannot decide between the normal TT S Line or TTS The normal TT S Line does 0-60 mph in 5.1 seconds and the TTS in 4.4 seconds. The quark on I have is, while of course 4.4 seconds is super quick, I’m unsure if I need that kind of speed, so how does the normal TT S Line actually feel with it acceleration? 5.1 second is still really quick, but does it actually feel that quick? The other question I have is, does the petrol cap actually lock with the central locking system? I can’t seem to find the answer anywhere online

thanks for the review. One comment (not on you, but to the car - and its not the only one that does this) - the idea of a place to put the key is so ironic or dumb. I mean no key in the ignition has become such a must have and now we have a place to put the key in the car that is just a little tray and not an actual ignition. Such progress!!!

+Greg Golightly not sure how it works for the Audi's, but with my better half's 015 Chevy Impala, you don't actually HAVE to have it there--it can be in your pocket (or elswhere). The only time it needs to be there is if/when the battery gets low; then you have to put it there. I suspect the Audi is the same way. Unfortunately for me, my '08 TT still wants me to plug in. :(

Not sure about new Audis, but my 2010 just requires the key anywhere within the vehicle...so in my pocket. I’d assume it’s the same now...but cannot confirm.

I'm in UK and I've been trying to put off buying this thing. Your video has just given me another reason to put it off no longer. Do you have the TTS? A quicker car with more amazing standard features. What I see here in UK at least is if you spec the TT up considerably with the many options available, the price then compared to TTS which has many of these options is standard isn't that different. Gorgeous car, the test drive did it for me. Makes my 2012 car now seam so out of date.

+hail x Personally, I'd go S3. It's more practical with its 4 doors and it's faster (but not faster than the TTS) but both cars have awesome handling though so either way they're both awesome choices!

+Gold Pony Depends on priorities. While the S3 certainly has more power and is faster for the same $$, the TT has the ability to transfer 100% of its power to the rear which the S3 cannot do, which will make it more fun when driven closer to limits.

+George Lima Its actually done on purpose and is artificial. Audi and VW pump fake engine noise into their "fast" cars through the speakers to give the idea of more performance.

For the same price, I'd rather get the s3. It's quicker and more versatile. The TT RS would be the sports car to get. 0-60 in the 5 second range doesn't seem "sports car" fast. Well put together video I must say.
