I've owned this bike for over 3 years now and wanted to share my thoughts and opinions on this marvelous machine from the Bavarian Motor Masters!!! I would upload all in one video but GoPro keeps slitting my longer videos and when I merge them with windows video editor it caps the resolution at 1080p. Also the GoPro editing software always crashes instantly. Working on a solution. Also my apologies, the R1200S was sub 500 lbs wet LOL, I was close!

2015/2016 .Literally greatest all around bike of all time. Speed comfort technology fit and finish. I should NEVER have sold mine. This machine has no equal

They really are the best arent they ? There's so many amazing sport bikes around and some I would love to add to the garage but i cannot see any replacement for this steed!

What’s the difference between the 15/16 and 17/18 models? The 17/18 models look better IMO but unsure of any engine specs

@@MADLITS1K hi. The 17/18 models are heavier due to more restrictive emissions restrictions. Plus the horsepower is not as high as the 15/16. Look at the mufflers also there is an extra tie in pipe on the 17/18. The 15/16 is the greatest all around litrebike of all time

@@christopheralonge7758 hmm interesting .. the weight thing kinda sounds like splitting hairs because usually it’s the exhaust that weighs the most, which is usually also the emissions issue but no one keeps the stock exhaust anyway or at the very least gets a slip on.. the HP issue is stock for stock or after the typical bolt ons? (Exhaust, air filter, flash and tune [dyno])? From everything I’ve seen and forums the 17/18 are animals beyond the older models .. iguess it’s all up for debate in the end

Stock for stock the 15/16 were lighter by almost 7lbs . the crank hp is the same but to the rear wheel there was about 4 to 6 ponies difference. Either way you are just splitting hairs. These bikes are monsters. You won't be disappointed with any of them . I had 2 2016 bikes in my garage and sold both. I have never stopped regretting this😣
