2016 BMW X5M vs. 2024 BMW X5M (What's changed)

Hey guys,
I got to do a video with my buddy Jame's F95 BMW X5M Competition to compare it to the F85 X5M. Huge thank you to James for letting me check his awesome X5M out and for letting me drive it. Let me know which one you would go with. I would love the F95 but unfortauntely dont fit as well as my F85.

Awesome video! I just got my 2024 X5M comp last week. Absolutely love it just have to get used to the updated screen and loads of tech/features. I was expecting the ride to be harsh from all the videos I have watched, but for what it is and also an M it rides smooth

I love the 2015 - 2018 BMW X5M body better than the new ones. I love technology to but I love my 2018 X5M. Keep the content coming when I'm finish with my build ill send you a link.

I am good with my 2017 X5M. There were some nice updates for the 2024 but nothing to push me to the new car price. The biggest thing is the engine but mine is no slouch. Of course, if price were not a consideration, then 2024.

Only thing u hate about the older one is the quality of the leather... they wear out fast.. the driver seats always f..ed up

Yeah I agree with that! Always make sure you clean and condition the leather it’s helped me a ton

i think both are nice. they have their good and bad. i personally like every x5 and i thought new facelift made the x5 look crosseyed. the pre facelift of the 4th gen was my favorite then second gen and then first gen then by default the 3rd gen. i mean overall as a suv cause there wasn't a x5 m with the first gen. i think your interior is way better then his. his almost looks like someone is going to play video games with all due respect. both are badass though overall. my sister in law has a bmw x6 m and it's probably just me but since its launch in 2008 i can't tell the difference between one gen to another. they all look like beans with wheels. if they could take your front lights and rear lights and his car's body then it would be better

How is the 2024 500lbs lighter? Try its heavier. Its 5600lbs. The 2016 is 5200. No idea where you are getting your info from.

Bmws are not no damn investments.... the value goes to nothing over short time.....wanna buy a car for investment.. buy something like a Ferrari.. and even that you can't put too much miles on it....
