2016 Chevrolet Suburban LTZ 5.3L V8 (355 HP) Test Drive

We (3 adults and 2 teenagers) did a trip from NYC to Miami last year including some days in the mountains. It was a very comfortable ride and I enjoyed very much to drive the Suburban. Average fuel consumption was 12.6 l/100 km - perhaps thanks to the motor toggling between V8 and V4 mode.

This is perfect car for my country ( Russia ) . It has perfect high endurance engine and transmission. It's small truck. In our country not perfect gasoline quality and in some regions frost reached up to -35 below zero. Only old school gasoline engine can survive in this climate )) modern Tsi and diesel engines suitable for Europe where mild climate and perfect fuel quality everywhere) Despite average 13-16 fuel consumption it's extremely popular in second hand market . Also these cars very repairable )

Did you try using Ethanol? Power raises to 385hp... It's an awesome Full Size Luxury SUV. When you're driving it, looks like you're in a compact hatch sport car. I got 8,5km/liter with 5 people on board plus baggage

+Eduardo Filho in USA? there is Regular 87, Midgraded 89 and Super 91, yes drive easy but you must always correcting the steering wheel while driving but it has automatic steering too like lane assist :)

Great review once again. 14 liters per km? That's not bad at all for a N/A V8. Lol My old (2011) 1.6 l 105ps mazda 3 averages 8.5 l/km with soft driving.

Love what Chevy has done with the Tahoe and Suburban SUV's. My only concern is that Chevy did NOT include a center head rest for the rear passengers. With a big family, I would have to look else where. I want ALL passengers to be as safe as possible.
