My brother owns a brake shop, and I have watched him do hundreds of brake jobs, you never ever let the caliper hang down like you did hanging from the brake line, always get a wire coat hanger or zip tie the caliper up to the strut, that brake line will snap or tear

u can leave it hanging that’s what the techs at my shop do and never come back w an issue. Tension like that won’t do anything to the brake hose. I always use my caliper hangers tho cuz why not

Changing the front breaks the hard way. Just use a C-clamp with the old pad, old school works the best and saves time.

The front breaks shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes. Not trying to knock this guy, because there aren't enough dads teaching kids this stuff. He is doing us all a favor and showing people what he knows, so thank you for the video!

As a flat rate time mechanic i own alot of brake caliper piston tool. And this tool i was using isn't one of the best, i agree with you, but i certainly have one of the best one in my work toolbox. Even beat the c-clamp thats for suree. Thanks for commenting.
