Did the carpet create a tight seal? Or did you you a separate sealant to make it air tight?

Good enough. It isn't necessary to get a 100% seal.

We would havevto pull the car apart yo build another one so it isn't feasible to do right now. The guy changes his system often and if he does I will let you know.
