2016 Dodge Charger RT 5.7L Hemi engine replacement detailed video

I have a 2014 rt charger it got a brand new 5.7 hemi last December with 0 miles now in October 2024 the engine blew now the shop is replacing the engine because warranty what is causing this you think ?

These 5.7l are really good engines in comparison to most modern engines. They are also less complicated with the exception of the mds ( which I am not a fan of ). I would imagine it was just a deffective engine from the start. If you compare the engines to the 3.6l the 5.7l are much cheaper even with the upgrades. I appreciate the feedback and I really love these cars.

@@s33therfan yes same brother my rt will be out wensday can’t wait to drive it again I do think it was a bad engine now ima get a new air intake to cool it down

Shitty oil pumps. Make sure you get a higher flowing one. Melling sells one, the mds system aint as bad as people make it seem considering majority of cases its the non mds lifters that fail. By all means tho if you wanna delete the mds do it. I'm gonna do it to my hemi just cuz it doesn't save much

Dam you have to remove a lot of stuff wow 😮, recentI found out one of my engine mounts in my 2020 charger rt is leaking, should I replace that one or both? Also looks very extensive depending on quotes by the dealerships I might take it to one

Hey I got a question about that Chevy Cruze if I was to engine swap with a new engine with a rebuilt.. do you think I could manage to drop it in with the cooling system or would it be too much of a fight to get it dropped in

Possibly but I usually like to remove everything I can just to have it out of the way. Seems like all the extra components wind up slowing things down. Thank you for the question.
