Same problem with my 2016 F-150 Live in California so it hardly rains, took it in to the dealership in Feb 2018 - they said nothing was wrong with it. Fast forward, we moved to the east coast recently and now my floors are soaked and it’s out of warranty. Such bullshit. Thanks for the video and the help.

I have the same issue with my 2018 Ford Lariat. Dealership tried to initially deny my warranty claim the first time, attributed it to a bad install on the moon roof. Just took back dealership a second time, and was advised the drain ports clogged up. I then asked if this was a maintenance related item an owner could make sure it did not occur again, and was advised that it was not a maintenance item. Will keep everyone posted. Was getting water behind the dash on to my floor mats.

I have 2019 F150 Platinum. Same problem on passenger carpet soaking wet. Very disappointed on FORD. I will check mine later too. Thanks for the video.

Yep I am having issue with my 2018 F150 right now with the passenger carpet soaked and mold growing. I am so fed up with ford!! I have looked and I am almost positive it's coming from the a/c drain on the firewall. Ford has lost a customer after this truck. Spend the money we do only to have the stupid issues we have. NOT COOL FORD!!

@@fourbyfourer not the ac. It’s the seem not sealed good where firewall and fender come together same thing on my 2020 f150 the dealer told they have had a lot of f150s come through with this problem Mine is scheduled next week

@@jasongallowayelite7432 Pass side is mostly the A/C drain. Sometimes the sunroof. Occasionally some missing plugs behind the inner fender on the firewall. And many times a pass front leak is actually coming from the rear.
@markm56773 жыл бұрын
@@SealofPerfection Mine had missing plugs on driver's side only. Factory ordered with out a moon roof and guess the tech on driver's side missed it. Water entered A pillar from fire wall and flooded over onto wiring channel and carpet by hood release.

Thank you. It's frustrating to pay these amounts for a vehicle that was put together rather ignorantly. I'll give this a try. Thanks for the upload.

Totally agree. After years of putting up with stuff like this with new expensive vehicles from ford, and dealing with immature and helpless service departments of ford dealerships, this will be my last ford vehicle!!

Seen probably 5 of them like this. I can get my hand in there from above where you had open and get the grommet clicked in place. Sometimes the factory just didn't get it totally secured and they pop out.

So what is that tube for? What's its purpose?

I hope ford sees this

Got the same issue with my 2010 F150 passenger side. Believe it or not, two licenced mechanics couldn't find the tubing. Ford shouldn't make it complicated. I have a 2002 Corolla, a 2002 Sienna and a 2016 Highlander; none has ever had such an issue. Instead of wasting millions in advertisements and commercials, Ford should focus on quality and not the quantity. My first and maybe last Ford.

It's a different setup on a 2010. In that same area, but it exits out the bottom inside that little cavity area.

I’m selling my F-150 and never buying a Ford again. My headlight switch is pouring out water. Cancelled my Lightning reservation and just going to wait for the Cybertruck.

A nearly $60,000 truck should blow you as you drive. You shouldn't have to Jerry rig a F'ing hose yourself. I've had mine (19f150) 4 months and it's flooded on the driver floorboard to the point I almost want to grab a jig and go flipping. They did the sunroof and all components, now they're going to look elsewhere. "Upgraded" from a 07 dakota, but that truck never pissed on me while driving it. FORD "quality" which they "gold certify" to be a piece of $hit they don't stand by.

My truck was literally sitting in the driveway with a light drizzle. Not even raining. And my interior is soaked and water is pouring out of my headlight switch.

“Good Afternoon, I am reaching out to let you know that my tech was able to take a look at it. We found the front and rear glass seals are allowing water to come through. The seals on the passenger side are collapsed. To replace them you are looking at 3787.71+tax. Please let me know if you have any questions and if you would like us to get this taking care of for you. Thank you! Robinson Brothers Ford Lincoln”

My mind is blown that seals or gaskets cost over $4000 to replace. What even.

You can’t tell me Ford engineers aren’t complete morons. These trucks are very poorly designed and the quality is just downright pathetic.

Its what happens when environmentalists and government builds your vehicles instead of actual engineers. No new vehicle is built to last anymore. They don't want you to get 100,000+ miles out of your cars and trucks anymore. They want you to trade it in at 50,000 miles and buy a new one
