I am having a hard time thinking they overlooked this problem. I think that shop replaced the lower control arm bushing and it may have needed it too but they wanted the sound to present again so they get a new work order. Butb thankfully she took it to someplace else.

Yeah, trust me I was shocked when I saw it too. It’s crazy it was just too obvious. I just don’t understand like how they didn’t feel that by even removing the lower control arm you would’ve seen that you would’ve felt it you would’ve felt it steering.

Honestly, I thought about it a lot and I still can’t seem to understand how it was overlooked but just thank God nothing happened to the person driving it

It wasn’t just worn it’s been fixed the part that threads into the steering gear was broken inside of it. We use left-handed drillbits to get it out. Thank God, she didn’t have to pay for steering gear. Could’ve been worse Vehicles gone fixed. Oh

I dont trust most garages! My wife took our car for a mot and they failed it on loads of stuff! Im a diy mechanic and knew there was nothing wrong with it! I took it back and told him to show me what was wrong with it he said he was too busy so id have to book it in! Another garage passed it with no advisories

Good thing you knew what you were doing. Yeah there’s good garages and there’s bad garages. There’s good mechanics and there’s bad mechanics just like it every business to be honest with you there’s honest people and there’s dishonest people.

I reported them and sent dvsa the fail sheet and the pass sheet which were 14 hours apart and a ton of photos showing that no work had been done to get the pass
