+Clint Patac All of the Super Duty trucks with the PowerStroke diesel use DEF. The fuel itself is normal diesel fuel, and the DEF is filled periodically through any Ford service department, or by the driver as needed.

I have a 2015 F-350 Dually Diesel and I love it. I hope they do not put aluminum on the super duty trucks. OK, you have kind of turned the f150 into something it never was and you went with the aluminum but super duty trucks are usually used for work and aren't like the f150's. A lot of women are now driving the 150 and that's fine but lets remember that there are still some working people buying them, I will say that I hope Ford redoes just about the entire interior. For 70K I sure expected a little better interior. They also need to move the front and rear leg space back to where it used to be. I have a big truck that people have a hard time getting their legs into the back initially. My 2010 F-150 had a much better rear legroom setup by far. That means for delicate items or for when it rained I was able to transport stuff inside my truck. Now I can't fit anything on the rear floor...........no room. The locking underside of the rear seats also doesn't allow for a flat space to load things. It still tows and drives great and has tons of power but for 70K I hope they change it up a bit and go back to some of the older things also.

+Peoria Ford Commercial Fleet Thanks for writing back to my comment. The capability of this truck cannot be questioned. As for aluminum body components I'm undecided. I suspect that in time the cost and difficulty of repair (body shop) may cause Ford to return to steel...we'll see. The interior of a premium vehicle, whether a truck or car needs to be fitted with components that look and feel expensive.

I get it. But really, a $75,000 truck with cheap interior materials? If I was going to use the Platinum as a work truck I'd be sure to wear overalls while I'm outside and take them off before I climb in. Otherwise I'd be in an XLT.

love the truck but some things on it i just hate. 1) don't like black interior. prefer the brown or pecan interior. and 2) I don't like the steering wheel. that had that same design since the 05 gen. You think Ford would upgrade it like like the new 2017. or how the f150 is. thats it. that the only thing i don't like. I was going to buy the same model and everything but when i saw the 2017, I just wait til that comes out. prefer the 2017 over the 2016 and older.

Yes i can afford this truck. don't have to take a loan off of it. But I'm going to wait for the new super duty generation comes out. prefer the new design anyways.
