During this presentation, we will take a 1st person look at what the vehicle is all about beginning with the start up, performance data, fuel economy, the occasional track data, and build quality. Also, I will teach you how to use most of the interior and exterior features in a detailed fashion, that before, you could only get from going to a dealership yourself! Throughout the video, I will highlight key styling and unique differences about the vehicle, any available options, and of course it would not be an enthusiast car video without the good ole engine portion with rev and exhaust note with interior and exterior perspectives. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THE CHANNEL SEE BELOW: In this channel you will find in depth educational videos of automobiles from all over the world, presented in a more detailed fashion than ever before. Basically, this gives the viewer the chance to view the most detailed 1st person look you can get without going to an actual dealer yourself! Every video is consistent in the way I present so viewers know what to expect in my presentations. I treat every vehicle with the same respect whether a 1960 Chevrolet Impala SS or the 2012 Lamborghini Aventador. I film all types of vehicles from past, present, and future while broadening the knowledge of the automotive enthusiast. You will see everything from vintage, brand new, exotic, mainstream, old, etc. I am very proud of this channel and have built it up from amateur videos years ago to what you see today. I wanted to share my love for the automotive world with the rest of the world. Be sure to explore the massive video variety, have fun and enjoy The Driver's Seat of KZbin!

I know this video is 6 years old, but to anyone watching this who's curious about getting a Denali Terrain; let me just say I love my 2014 Denali Terrain. 3.6l V6 yet I swear that thing moves just as quick as a 2016 v6 Camaro etc., also feels a lot safer too, lol. Maybe you're watching this video because you're considering buying one. While I won't lie that I often daydream about other cars, driving the Denali in particular certainly feels luxurious to a degree, yet powerful too. For me, it's a great balance between aesthetic and power.

Just bought on like the one in the vid. I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We had a 2011 4cyl Terrain that died at 73,00 miles. No more fours for us. V-6 has plenty of power but max HP at 6000 rpm. Dealer had a brand new Mailibu with 4 cyl that was blown when they took it off truck.

Bought one last Friday. 2016, V6 AWD LT. Doesn't disappoint. Tight steering, great ride, great at highway speeds. Love all the leather and other options I got. Sticker was right at $40,000, paid $32,100. I've got a bad back and getting in or out is painless.....

I've got a Black LTZ V6 AWD for the same pice fully loaded! Shop around and you would be surprised on the rebates and discounts some dealers give out. The suspension on the LTZ is a lot better than my old 4 cylinder 2LT 2014 model.

Great review, Saabkyle04. My wife recently took delivery of her '16 and your video covers everything about it. I agree about the few missing features for a luxury trim, but like you said, it is an old platform. Her Denali with V6, nav, sunroof, and 19" wheels, negotiated to a selling price of less than $35 USD helped turn a blind eye on the shortcomings. What set the Terrain apart from the competition, and the deal maker for us, is its 2nd row space which is roomy enough to have rear-facing carseats without cramping us in the front. The terrain also allowed 3 carseats installed across the bench (fancy, narrow ones, however). Last and definitely not least, is the very cool sheet metal of the Terrain and the upscale appearance of the Denali trim. We have a Flex for primary duty so the Terrain's smaller size also makes it practical as my wife's daily and back up transportation.

It maybe outdated, but for good reason. First, no hideous body panel gaps. And it's well based around non car people. Easy to use infotainment, regular turn key and go, reliable.. And the restyling actually quite sharp. It will always just be a people pusher, but it's a great mid-sized suv.
@IKhanNot
@IKhanNot 8 жыл бұрын
Not a fan but it will be a reliable choice since the vehicle itself is outdated. A vehicle is at the most reliable state late within the model generation because all of the bugs have been ironed out.

What a beautiful CUV. The only thing that makes the Terrain look out dated are the front lights and rear lights. To be honest though; I think in the next 2 years GM is going to dispose of the Equinox & Terrain platform and bring back the Chevy Trailblazer & GMC Envoy. I heard from a little birdy GM might bring the Trailblazer over too North America.

I love your videos so much! The only thing that you missed is really one of the few redeeming features of the Equinox/Terrain twins, the back seat slides fore and aft to increase cargo room or legroom respectively! That's what the plastic portion that smooths the gap of the folding seats is for! My mom had a 2005 MY Equinox fresh off the delivery truck in 2004 and she STILL talks about that sliding rear seat. Hopefully they keep that feature in the third generation! Keep up the good work and I cannot wait to see your review of the Buick Cascada you just got in!

Well Harry, I suppose beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. Where we may differ is the assumption that all European SUVs are ugly although there are a few, indeed. SUV'S are very hot right now, but I don't beleive most buyers are looking at them as trucks or truck like, but more of a status symbol or a street queen on wheels. 5% are actually taken off road. GM has had some real misses, remember the Aztec? All companies have had their failures, it's just that GM appears to have more than most, (in my opinion).

NuclearGrizzly Oh yes, it's a really nice SUV, it's had a couple of recalls for the paint on the back hatch, but besides that it's a really really nice vehicle! Very reliable!

SuchANiceGirl22 Yah he wishes he did too, although there was a great deal on the terrain he got, and the dealership had barely any V6's there which was odd.

That interior reminds me of the 2008 Ford Fiesta. Why does the North American market love remote start so much? I don't think any cars in the UK come with it, or very few.

+Antwon Jenkins Some cars that use keys to start have keyless start. Once you get in you have to put the key in though.
@harryjansen6990
@harryjansen6990 8 жыл бұрын
+MRFUCKOFF202 Because we are lazy and are too self involved to even put a damn key in a hole and turn it. It takes way too much time away from posting shit on social media that doesn't mean anything and because keyless is the "in" thing at the moment until some asshat leaves their purse or the damn fob in the car along with the kiddo who pushes the button just like mommy and kills someone.
@aidansweeney9667
@aidansweeney9667 8 жыл бұрын
Harry Jansen That's one of the reasons I prefer an actual key. With most cars with keys, you get a spare key if for example you leave your normal key in the car. But from what I know most cars with push-button start only come with 1 key fob.

1: No, just no. Keys are always better in my opinion. 2: Nice, but not necessary. 3: not necessary but useful. 4: Backup cameras will be required on all vehicles in 2 years, so. 5: they look nice, but does a Toyota Prius (for example) really need LEDs?

+PussyCrusher #1 Unnecessary crap #2 Something else to distract you from what you are there for #3 Nice in winter up north an summer down south #4 Useful but God forbid you turn your head to look behind you. #4 Other that lower power usage unnecessary and a hell of alot more expensive to replace..
