Just installed 034 Motor mount, trans mounts and dogbone insert. I've done on other VAG cars before, but can't honestly say I notice any difference in driving feel or NVH on my S3.

Cool videos dude....i have the same mounts. So far only got the engine mount installed. Im a lil nervous about the transmission mount causing too much vibration/harshness... any feedback would be appreciated.

Carmelo Susino NVH is negligible. I also am running their dogbone insert and rear subframe inserts and still the NVH is minimal. Really only feel it at idle and usually only during cold Start. Def stiffens the ride though so it's rigid when you hit those patches of uneven roads but nothing that will annoy you. The pros far outweigh the cons. If i had to buy the car again these two Mounts would be done in my first 5 upgrades. Not sure if you're running dsg tranny or not but I'd say that's where the benefits really kick in. Coming to a stop you don't get even close to as much lurch in the down shifts and the pedal is more responsive coming out of turns and also when going from cruising speeds to wot. Car feels very anxious to get moving.

I might have missed it during the video, but are those stretch bolts, or can they be reused after taking out the OEM mounts?

they are not stretch bolts but depending on what mounts you go with...for instance BFI provides new bolts anyway. 034 does not. I did not change my bolts when I did the Install. It has been about 8 Months now since install and they have gone through an entire race season with no issues yet.

Those are torque to yield bolts on the mounts

Cannot be reused. Usually motor mounts will come with new bolts.

Thank you for making this video and review! Thinking about replacing my engine and transmission mounts on my 2015 GTI stage 2 APR with 33k miles on stock mounts. Do you still recommend the 034 mounts after having them for a while? Would they be able to handle stage 2 power output? I don't track my car just daily driven...

SSD yes for daily driving they are great 👌 mine have seen a lot of launches so are starting to wear out a little but for daily driving they are great. No NVH at all.

Navindra Ramharack I love them. If I had to do them again I would do them from day 1. I've seen some fail on others pushing more power but they held up fine on the R this season. I'll prolly go BFI on my GTI but that's only cause I plan to push a lot of power on that. But the 034 def is better for the ride comfort

How did you push up the bottom? Jack on the oil pan? I'm doing my install soon and trying to figure out best way to support engine. I don't want to crack the oil pan lol.

I had a few Mounts installed before these that also contributed to NVH but even paired with these it's negligible. At very low rpms when starting movement at low throttle you'll feel a little vibration from the engine rumbling but it's nothing annoying imo. It really just stiffens everything help. Car will feel muchhhh more solid. And if i could do my modifications all over again I would have put these Mounts in right from jump street. I love their performance and since they are rubber instead of polyurethane the NVH worry is negligible and retains most of the stock feel of things but does a great job relieving the slooshiness our cars are plagued with from the factory.
