I agree with your comments about the gear selection and volume knob. People have been complaining about these since the release too. I really hope Honda listens.

I have a 2016 Honda Accord Touring... And I never touch the volume on the radio, I use the buttons on the steering wheel.. That's why they put it there for the driver so they don't have to touch over on the radio while they're driving.. I felt like this video was almost just all complaining about the pilot. I've driven the elite pilot and I for one love it. There's no "extra steps" it's just being lazy if anything. When you mentioned that your picky in the video is say so because of how much you complained. Maybe you just shouldn't drive newer vehicles? ✌🏼️

I love my Honda pilot! traded in a 2015 Tahoe LT 4x4 for the pilot and I think it was a great choice. I love the no shifter feature on the elite

I test drove one and loved the buttons too! It only took one time to know which button goes with what gear. Plus, they are different in shapes. I hope to get my Pilot Elite in a couple of months. Good luck to your knew car!

Well, with the pushbutton it is the same with the stick, after having the car for sometime, you learn how to use it without looking at it.

Yikes, a lot of reviewers not liking the 9 speed tranny and lack of volume knob. It's too bad they don't offer the heated rear seats and heated steering wheel with the 6 speed trims, that's what I would have been interested in.

Why are automotive journalists so worried about little picky things such as no volume knob...? Especially when that's something you learn to live with and is no big deal. same with the shifter. same thing you get use to! stick to actual things of concern. not little petty things.

+TestDrivenTV yes! especially since it is not jeopardizing anything important like interior room or performance. plus... I like the high tech features. I guess we all have different opinions. I just don't see what complaining about little things that just need getting use to matter... journalists only have the vehicle for a few days and that's why they don't like some of those picky things. if someone buy a the vehicle they will be use to it in days of not weeks. plus there is a slider on the steering wheel. lol!

+TestDrivenTV as a driver i never use the damn knob on the radio (steering wheel anyone?) but i don't like the change in the transmission (c'mon why should i use a button?) but you lost time looking at it when you have it already in front of you, honda cars always show you near the velocimeter in what shift you are.
