I got 2015 Kia Cerato Koup 1.6T-GDI ..same motor etc etc..if I do this muffler delete ..sounds good on your Hyundai Veloster ..how is the drone inside the car or the noise after muffler delete ? As both the Hyundai VT and Kia Koup are pretty quiet and decently sealed against external noise and vibrations..I wouldn't want to take away from the comfort yet I'd definitely like abit more 'Bark' from the engine note.

3 days ago I was given a fine and a police order to get inspection for the exact same thing in Vancouver, Canada.... The cop clearly doesn't know if it's illegal or not or he wouldn't have made the inspection order. Does anybody know what I might be told after inspection??

I just got an intake and BOV and the front sounds insane, but the back is boring now and it doesn't balance well. I was going to wait and get an Ark Performance exhaust, but for me to drop 1400, its gonna be a couple months away. So instead I'm gonna spend $120 to get the res and muffler deleted and get the exhaust asap.

A bit of a boring sound to that car, I'm not a big fan of 4 cylinders. That's why I keep my volkswagens factory exhaust on. My truck is pretty loud though, gotta love the sound of a V8.

I have a new Kia Soul base w/6 speed mt that I'm keeping bone stock for that reason. My GTI though sounds pretty good with new mufflers
